| Institution: | Simei Monteiro is a Methodist from Brazil and works in the worship office of the World Council of Churches. She is a musician and composer and has recently been working on Portuguese translations of Charles Wesley's hymns. In this meditation which was offered at morning prayer in the Ecumenical Centre in Geneva in June 2008, she tells part of the story of the concept of the Guarani peoples “land without evil” and outlines some of the elements of the extraordinary Mass of the Land without Evil. |
