| Abstract: | Two different touch-sensitive surface units are described and evaluated from a technical as well as an applications standpoint, with particular emphasis on their use as response devices in computer-assisted instruction with young children. Several other interesting touch-sensitive surface concepts and laboratory applications are also described. |
