After serving as a research fellow of the National Research Council for two years, he became a member of the Department of Psychology at the University of North Carolina. During the war he was with the National Defense Research Committee, doing research in gunnery selection and training.;J. H. Burke is with the Human Resources Research Laboratories, U.S.A.F., as Deputy Chief of the Personnel Research Division. In 1948–49 he did research on performance evaluation with the Personnel Research Section, A.G.O. During the war he served as a communications officer, U.S.N.R. He was with the Occupational Analysis Division of the U.S.E.S. for eight years. |
