| Affiliation: | Leonard C. Mead has been head of the Human Engineering Section of the Special Devices Center of the Office of Naval Research since 1946. Prior to that time he was assistant professor of psychology at Tufts College. During the war Dr. Mead served as a contractor's representative for Tufts College for research under the National Defense Research Committee, and also conducted research on daylight simulation of blind flying conditions. He received his Ph.D. in 1939 from the University of Rochester. |
