Abstract: | Advances in computer technology, in combination with the resources of the Internet, afford the educator an unprecedented array of options for facilitating instruction. At the same time, this technology introduces numerous ways of inadvertently or intentionally violating federal copyright law and guidelines. Copyright law, the principles of fair use, and guidelines for reproduction of text and off-air broadcast media will be discussed, with specific reference to the development of multimedia programs and Internet-based applications. |
