老虎保护公众意识态度变化研究

本研究以问卷调查的方式对上海市中学生，中医药大学生、和普通公众的老虎保护意识进行了对比调查和纵向调查，以评估国际野生生物保护协会亚洲保护交流项目的“拯救虎虎”公众意识宣传教育活动的效果。

THE ATTITUDE CHANGE IN THE PUBLIC A WARENESS OF THE CONSERVATION OF THE TIGER

Several groups of audiences in Shanghai were examined on their current awareness of tiger conservation in order to evaluate the success of " ReducingTiger Products in China". a public awareness projectconducted by WCS Asia Conservation CommunicationProgram. The results of the survey showed that aftercertain publicity and education, the awareness of tigerconservation among middle school and university students has been significantly raised. On the other hand,because of the influence of traditional culture, most ofthe Chinese people still believe in the medical efficacyo f tiger bones, and they will still try to use the tigerbased products if needed. in spite of the fairly goodrecognition of the endangered status of the remainingwild tigers and the knowledge of wildlife laws. As aresult, it's necessary to continue the publicity and education to gradually change people's perception of themedical value of tiger products and their attitude towards the use of them.
