The Impact of Physical Attractiveness in Evaluative Contexts

A repeated measures study assessing the impact of ratee sex, past performance, and attractiveness on performance evaluations was completed. Past performance was shown to account for nearly all of the explained variation in the dependent measures. The role of attractiveness is assessed to operate "on the margin" at best.
