Features and Effects of Liang Qichao's Study on Guanzi

As a scholar of the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic,Liang Qichao was influenced by both old and new academic thoughts and achieved a lot in his studies on Guanzi.Through he contrasted systems of Chinese and western,guided by his old academic,he tried to find an way to change Chinese fate.Because Guanzi alternated kindness with severity and paid attention to both law and discipline rite,it accorded with Original intention of Liang.On account of influenced by old and new academic,Liang’s research on Guanzi has many distinct features,and holds great significance to the coming scholars.
