Abstract: | Sternberg (1986) points out a number of possible problems with an article by Vernon, Nador, and Kantor (1985). Further reanalyses of their data reveal that the problems may not be as serious as Sternberg asserts. Moreover, a more recent study (Vernon & Kantor, in press) has confirmed that Vernon et al. (1985) were correct in concluding that speed-of-information processing is equally highly correlated with timed and untimed measures of intelligence. |
