Abstract: | SUMMARY This article highlights the many accomplishments of California based mental health occupational therapists in fostering liaisons in the community, collaborating with consumers and families and developing innovative programs. It also provides a rationale and theoretical construct for occupational therapists to provide quality interventions while both protecting and expanding their present practice through the use of client centered services. |
