The Present Situation and Prospects of the Research on Political Psychology Abroad

Political psychology is a discipline that studies the in teractive mech anism between political and psychological process. This thesis discusses the h istorical background and process of the formation and development of p olitical psychology abroad. It explains the present situation of foreign politi cal psychology stu dy: the study of political individuals, political groups and international polit ics. It analyzes the developmental direction of foreign political psychology: it s theoriza tion and systematization, its emphass on the study of the interactive mechanism of politica l psychology, its attention to psychological problems of international politi cs,and the incorporation of diverse research methods.
