| Institution: | Frank J. Holmes is associate professor of psychology at Illinois Wesleyan University and psychological consultant to the State Farm Insurance Companies. He received his Ph.D. from New York University in 1941. He was associated with the New York University School of Commerce from 1936 to 1942 and concurrently served as assistant to Dr. Walter V. Bingham at the Stevens Institute of Technology from 1937 through 1939. He spent a summer with the Bendix Aviation Corporation in 1942 before accepting a commission in the Army where he served during the war as personnel consultant, classification officer and clinical psychologist. He spent the year of 1946–47 at the University of Illinois before assuming his present position. |
