Efficacy of Asynchronous Insulin Glargine on Fasting Blood Glucose in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

To compare the efficacy of asynchronous insulin glargine on fasting blood glucose（FBG） in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.eighty-nine type 2 diabetes patients were randomly divided into A group（forty-six patients received matutinal insulin glagine injection） and B group（forty-three patients received nocturnal insulin glargine injection） finally.observation of FBG last for one week.the FBG of two groups dropped obviously and the values of P were less than 0.001（P0.001）.but the extent of the descent were greater in B group than in A group and the values of P were less than 0.001（P0.001）.so the matutinal insulin glargine injection is better than nocturnal for the extent of the FBG descent if the insulin dosage is same.
