Abstract:To compare therapeutic effect of prostaglandin E1 in the patients with morning diabetic nephropathy, ninety-one patients with morning diabetic nephropathy were randomly divided into A group (who were treated with intravenous infu sion of 10 microgram prostaglandin E1 perday for two weeks. ) and B group (who were treated with intravenous infusion of 20 micro-gram prostaglandin E1 perday for two weeks) finally. The changing of measurement results on ur-microalbunrain excretory rate for 8 hours (UAER) , serum urea nitrogen (BUN) and creatinine ( Cr) were observed before and after treatment, the UAER,BUN and Cr of two groups dropped obviously P〈0.05, but the extent of the descent for the UAER were greater in B group than in A group and P〈0. 001. The extent for the BUN were not different between B group and A group, the values of P were more than 0.05(P〉0. 051, the extent for the Cr were greater in B group than in A group P(0.05. Prostaglandin E1 could decrease urine microalbumin and improve the renal function in the patients with morning diabetic nephropathy, the efficacy with 20 microgram prostaglandin E1 perday is better than 10 microgram.
