| Abstract: | Surgical way of treating morbid obesity has been tried for many years. Recently, it was found this approach could ＂cure＂ type 2 diabetes in a relative high efficiency than any other approaches that ever being tried. As the surgery was practice more and more, more complications was observed and reported, and some severe complications cannot be corrected. Although International Diabetes Federation added surgery as a choice for managing patients with type 2 diabetes, more observation and well designed studies are highly needed. |
