| Abstract: | Continuous renal replacement therapy （CRRT） is a vigorous new blood purification technology, which is developed on the basis of dialysis technology during the last three decades. CRRT was first applied in the treatment of patients with severe acute renal failure （ARF}. As the understanding of the CRRT continuously deepening and technology continuously developing, the region of CRRT application has been expanded, and its function is developed from renal replacement to the multi--organ support and life--support. This article introduces the expanded clinical application of CRRT and further development by a systematic method. |
