High Frequency Ultrasonography Findings of Knee Joint Lesions

Suprapatellar bursa, femoral condylar cartilage, popliteal fossa bursa, knee cap tendon in knee joints were examined by high frequency ultrasonography to define the ultrasound adjuvant diagnosis and therapeutic effect evaluation on knee joint lesions. The suprapatellar bursa fluid, synovium membrane, femoral condylar cartilage, baker＇s cyst, knee cap tendon＇s thickness and echo were detected before and after therapy in case group and control group. The suprapatellar bursa fluid, synovium membrane, femoral condylar cartilage in case group before therapy were thicker than in the control group, and the femoral condylar cartilage in case group was changed in most of cases group, there was baker＇s cyst in popliteal bursa in some patients, but it＇s fluid can be reduced or disappeared after therapy. Ultrasonography was valuable for adjuvant diagnosis and therapeutic evaluation of knee joint lesions.
