Treatment Status of Diseases of Carotid Artery

The carotid stent angioplasty （Carotid artery stenting） is strongly favored by the specialists inland. Based on latest literatures, it is found that each of the carotid endarterectomy and the carotid stent angioplasty has corresponding indications, which of them has advantages and disadvantages. We should choose the treatment according to the equipment of respective hospitals and physicians proficiency of the carotid endarterectomy and the carotid stent angioplasty. Both of them are benefit to cure carotid artery stenosis. However, it is needed to be further overcome that there are some problems and difficulties.
