Factors Analysis for Difficulties Weaning in Prolonged Mechanical Ventilation Patients in Intensive Care Unit

To investigate the factors of difficulties weaning for prolonged mechanical ventilation（PMV） patients in intensive care unit（ICU）, the clinical data and the weaning details of 62 PMV patients were collected and analyzed to find the factors of weaning failure. Among all patients, 32 patients weaning successfully, 10 dead, 18 weaned difficultly, among which 1 was diagnosed motor neuron disease, 2 were after brain surgery, 2 patients were after abdominal surgery, 3 were intersti- tim pneumonia, 3 were chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, 3 were severe pneumonia, 2 were renal insufficiency, 2 were failed to wean due to psychological stress. Case analysis displayed that the effect of respiratory and circulation factors still exist, but weren＇t the main reasons, neuromuscular function, psychological factors, nutrition and endocrine factors had become the main factors.
