Those who subscribe to aprudential conception of practical reason do not believe that there is a conflict between other-regarding and self-regarding norms as the former are held to be founded on the latter. Moral conduct, they maintain, is always rationally justifiable. The reasons we should fulfil the demands of other-regarding norms are the same as those we have for fulfilling self-regarding norms. David Brink has put forth an interesting and novel account of this approach to practical reason which he calls‘metaphysical egoism’. Metaphysical egoism requires that we modify our pre-theoretical understandings of self-interest on metaphysical grounds. I critically assess Brink’s argument and claim that metaphysical egoism does not adequately function as a motive or guide for action. It is susceptible to many of the same problems which strategic egoism faces. This revised version was published online in July 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

科学发明创造中, 人们往往对一个问题百思不得其解, 但在看到某一启发性事物(原型)时, 突然产生顿悟, 继而发现解决问题的新思路。本研究以科学发明创造问题为实验材料, 采取“先呈现问题、后呈现原型”和“先呈现原型、后呈现问题”两种范式, 探讨问题解决中顿悟的原型位置效应, 并采用fMRI技术记录大脑的BOLD信号变化。结果发现:行为结果上, “问题在先”条件下正确率显著高于“原型在先”条件; 大脑激活结果上, 问题先导条件下的原型启发的大脑机制主要表现为左侧颞中回(left middle temporal gyrus)和左侧额中回(left middle frontal gyrus)的显著激活, “原型在先”条件下, 主要激活左侧扣带回(left cingulate gyrus)、左侧中央前回(left middle frontal gyrus)。  相似文献

Two experiments were conducted with 24 fifth-grade students participating. In the first experiment, quiz performance with study guides was compared to quiz performance without study guides. The group whose students received study guides always scored higher than the group who did not receive study guides. Experiment II assessed the feasibility of students scoring their own study guides. The reliability of student scoring was found to be 93% over all study guides and there were no significant differences between "self-scored" and "teacher-scored" groups on the weekly quizzes.  相似文献

What we normally think of as the “physical world” is also the world as experienced, that is, a world of appearances. Given this, what is the reality behind the appearances, and what might its relation be to consciousness and to constructive processes in the mind? According to Kant, the thing itself that brings about and supports these appearances is unknowable and we can never gain any understanding of how it brings such appearances about. Reflexive monism argues the opposite: the thing itself is knowable as are the processes that construct conscious appearances. Conscious appearances (empirical evidence) and the theories derived from them can represent what the world is really like, even though such empirical knowledge is partial, approximate and uncertain, and conscious appearances are species-specific constructions of the human mind. Drawing on the writings of Husserl, Hoche suggests that problems of knowledge, mind and consciousness are better understood in terms of a “pure noematic” phenomenology that avoids any reference to a “thing itself.” I argue that avoiding reference to a knowable reality (behind appearances) leads to more complex explanations with less explanatory value and counterintuitive conclusions—for example Hoche’s conclusion that consciousness is not part of nature. The critical realism adopted by reflexive monism appears to be more useful, as well as being consistent with science and common sense.  相似文献

对自我的认知引导认知和行为。本研究用与自我有关的语义内容启动场独立型和场依存型自我认知,随即让被试做与场独立或场依存认知方式有关的认知作业,探讨自我认知类型是否引导认知方式,即启动场独立自我认知是否比启动场依存自我认知诱发更多场独立的认知方式;同样,启动场依存自我认知是否比启动场独立自我认知诱发更多的场依存的认知方式。结果是肯定的。  相似文献

应用Uni Web Viewer软件,通过基线平行于Frankfurt平面的颅脑CT30例,探讨经关键孔脑室穿刺的方法。模拟从关键孔下脑皮质,与前后分别呈55°、50°、45°行侧脑室穿刺。结果以x±s表示,统计采用多个样本方差齐性检验,单因素多样本均数F检验,P〈0.05为显著统计学差异。与前后呈50°,头尾呈20°,深度5cm,为经关键孔脑室穿刺的优选方案。  相似文献

我国无统一的多发性硬化(MS)诊断标准,MS的诊断依据Poser标准和McDonald标准。McDonald标准是建立在Poser标准基础上,但更注意利用包括MRI在内的相关实验室检查来证明多发性硬化在时间和空间上的多发性,有利于MS的早期诊断及治疗。对于没有MRI仪器的地方或不能承担MRI检查费用者,可用Poser标准进行诊断,但要注意行视觉诱发电位检查及脑脊液寡克隆IgG区带测定。  相似文献

Interteaching is a behavioral teaching method that has demonstrated efficacy in higher education. Of particular interest is the use of a preparation guide (a guided reading assignment), which is designed to promote engagement in the other areas of the interteaching process. The present study compared the use of a preparation guide completed before the start of class with that of a quiz administered at the start of the class. The quiz was hypothesized to serve as a functional alternative to the preparation guide. A total of 38 undergraduate students enrolled in an Introduction to Psychology course participated in this study. The primary dependent measure was student performance on tests following each condition. The analysis revealed no statistically significant difference between the conditions, F(1, 302) = 0.103, p = .748, though qualitative feedback revealed student preference for preparation guides. Future research is necessary to examine the effects of quizzing while addressing the limitations of this study.  相似文献
