ABSTRACT

The goal of this bibliography is to present a carefully selected bibliography of source material designed to introduce both scholars and casual researchers to all facets of the Shaker experience. Following the examination of a broad array of reference works, monographs, journal articles, and Websites which discuss the Shakers, a subset of high-quality works was selected to represent the history, culture, theology, and art of this important American religious movement. This bibliography can serve as a gateway into the Shaker universe for researchers while also assisting librarians interested in building a collection of Shaker-related materials. Popular and scholarly interest in the Shakers continues to grow even as the movement itself slowly disappears from the scene. This bibliography makes a unique contribution by guiding readers to the best sources on all aspects of Shakerism, not just their history and beliefs but also the architecture and handcrafts that have proven so inspirational to contemporary American art. The curious can start by exploring the reference works included here, while scholars can use the handpicked scholarly works as a foundation for further research.     

A resource on behavioral terminology: an annotated bibliography of on terms articles in the behavior analyst

An annotated bibliography that summarizes the On Terms articles on behavior-analytic terminology from The Behavior Analyst is provided. Thirty-five articles published between 1979 and 2010 were identified, annotated, and classified using common behavior analysis course-content frameworks.     

Introduction: Alexander Luria's Continuing Influence on Worldwide Neuropsychology

As an introduction to this special issue, this article provides an overview of the worldwide influence of the work of Alexander R. Luria. a noted Russian neuropsychologist. Major themes and issues that he studied are reviewed, and the reasons for his strong worldwide influence are discussed. An overview of subsequent articles in this issue is provided.     

Resources on Same-Sex Couples for Therapists and Clients

SUMMARY

This article provides a brief annotated bibliography of resources for working with same-sex couples. We provide summaries of articles, book chapters, books, and web sites which we have found to be particularly helpful in working with same sex couples. Books covered include those targeted to therapists as well as those targeted to clients (self-help and bibliotherapy books).     

A Bibliographic Survey of the Activities and International Nature of Multiple Criteria Decision Making

One of the fascinating things about multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) is the degree to which the contributions that have built the field have come from all over the world. In this paper the international nature of the authorships of the 1216 refereed journal articles published on MCDM between 1987 and 1992, and the journals in which they have appeared, is examined. Also, an analysis of the 217 books and 31 journal special issues that have been published on MCDM, and 143 conferences that have been held on MCDM since the inception of the field, is similarly conducted. The paper concludes with a conference organizer, author and special issue guest editor index.     

论李鼎祚《周易集解》的流传

《周易集解》从成书到流行,是有一个过程的,其版本的流变正好反映了这个过程。目前讨论《周易集解》版本传承的文章,或侧重于早期,或仅仅据清代以来目录学的著作抄撮一番。然而许多公私目录的记载都是有问题的;而仅仅通过书的封面题记来说明历史上《周易集解》都有哪些刻本,不免过于简单。更为重要的是,要通过对每种版本的目见和校勘,发现各版本的异同,进一步揭示版本之间的传承影响,并对版本状况作出判断,以为进一步的经典内容和思想的研究提供一个坚实的基础。     

Behavioral contributions to teaching of psychology: an annotated bibliography

An annotated bibliography that summarizes behavioral contributions to the journal Teaching of Psychology from 1974 to 2006 is provided. A total of 116 articles of potential utility to college-level instructors of behavior analysis and related areas were identified, annotated, and organized into nine categories for ease of accessibility.
