Decision makers pursuing several distinct goals may differ in their behaviour. Some try to achieve all goals simultaneously, whereas others concentrate on only certain ones and are therefore specialized. We present a new method of measuring the specialization degree with respect to a given standard balanced relation of the goals. The measurement is integrated into data envelopment analysis (DEA) methodology, uses a non‐compensative distance measure, permits optional convex polyhedral cones as predefined balance sets and guarantees feasible solutions. Geometrically, it is based on the angle between the balance cone and the ray through the point of investigation. The proposed models can be used to support and complement the usual effectiveness and efficiency analysis in multi‐criteria decision analysis and DEA. They are motivated and illustrated by a simple numerical example, compared with an alternative method recently published and applied to real data from the literature. This article explores the emergence of Indian theology at the Latin American level. Indian theology appeared in the church of Latin America over the last 20 years. This branch of theology is a rethinking or reshaping of what existed there during the pre‐Columbian period and incorporating the most valuable contributions of the Christian faith. These were brought to the people during the first 50 years of the evangelism. ‘Indian theology’ therefore comes down to us from the distant past, a collective movement by the indigenous grassroots, indigenous leaders, and supporters of the indigenous cause within the church. Indian theology has taken different forms in Latin America: within the churches; within the people's own traditions, independently of the churches; and within indigenous social movements. Building bridges between people of diverse views through dialogue is leading to increased understanding and respect.  相似文献

Within the problematics of history and representation, the court comes to the fore in various types of late medieval writings: chronicles, ambassadorial reports, decrees as well as literature in various genres. Yet how to read these texts is a question that affects the reconstruction of Jewish history of the period. Here an attempt is made to develop a way of reading such texts though examining an apparently minor poem by Pero Ferruz in the Cancionero de Baena. This poem, it is argued, reveals the items of interest in courtly dialogue: synagogues, Jewish privileges, legal status, theological discrepancies, but also consensus. The coherence of the text is constructed by appeal to the subject of the city and its rise in the late Middle Ages.  相似文献

Scholarship on Abravanel has largely ignored the courtly context and milieu to which Abravanel himself regularly draws attention. The logic seems to that the court is the contrary to the spiritual or simple life, and, indeed, the vast majority of the approximately two to three hundred essays and other works devoted to Abravanel concentrate almost exclusively on the intellectual themes found in Abravanel’s Hebrew writings. In his epistles, however, the courtly context is clearly evident, as this essay will now show, pointing to how this milieu affected, or intertwined with, Abravanel’s cultural outlook. It will also discuss the relationship between this context and ideas, as well as the forms Abravanel elected in which to present them in writing.  相似文献
