Idealizations and Concretizations in Laws and Explanations in Physics

The paper tries to provide an alternative to Hempel’s approach to scientific laws and scientific explanation as given in his D-N model. It starts with a brief exposition of the main characteristics of Hempel’s approach to deductive explanations based on universal scientific laws and analyzes the problems and paradoxes inherent in this approach. By way of solution, it analyzes the scientific laws and explanations in classical mechanics and then reconstructs the corresponding models of explanation, as well as the types of scientific laws appearing in it. Finally, it compares this reconstruction with the approaches of J. Woodward and C. Hitchcock, C. Liu and with the views of M. Thalos on analytic mechanics.

Constructive Logic with Strong Negation is a Substructural Logic. II

The goal of this two-part series of papers is to show that constructive logic with strong negation N is definitionally equivalent to a certain axiomatic extension NFL _ew of the substructural logic FL _ew . The main result of Part I of this series [41] shows that the equivalent variety semantics of N (namely, the variety of Nelson algebras) and the equivalent variety semantics of NFL _ew (namely, a certain variety of FL _ew -algebras) are term equivalent. In this paper, the term equivalence result of Part I [41] is lifted to the setting of deductive systems to establish the definitional equivalence of the logics N and NFL _ew . It follows from the definitional equivalence of these systems that constructive logic with strong negation is a substructural logic. Presented by Heinrich Wansing     

语境和构词法线索对外国学生汉语词义猜测的作用

要求学习汉语的欧美和日本留学生对三种条件下(只有词没有语境、只有语境没有词、既有词也有语境)的语义半透明的双音复合词进行猜测, 考察语境和构词法线索在欧美和日本留学生汉语生词猜测中的作用。结果显示：在猜测词义中语境和构词法线索分别都能提供一定的信息, 但同时提供两种信息能得到更好的猜测; 语境和构词法线索在生词猜测过程中所起的作用不同, 语境能提供更多句法上的信息, 构词法能提供更多语义上的信息; 目标词的结构方式对生词猜测产生影响, 与动宾式生词相比, 偏正式生词的猜测较为容易且构词法线索在其中的作用较大; 母语文字背景可能影响词义猜测的效果, 日本留学生对于构词法、语境线索以及两者的整合都比欧美留学生好。     

How is the arrival of things possible?

Ancient Chinese thought inquired primarily into how the achievement of things is possible rather than into what a thing as a thing is. It held that man should participate in the achieving or generation of things in order to realize his self-achievement. A thing is understood as an event. Because all things and man are united as one, it is possible for man to enter into things by tasting and feeling rather than by relying on the sense of sight. This may provide a possible new means of rescuing things from the numericalization and phenomenalization that sweep over the world today. Number Created by the Interaction Between Consciousness and Memory: A Mathematical Basis for Preafference

I would like to deal with a process that numbers are generated by the interaction between consciousness and memory, associated with time with a finite width. It is pointed out that this process can be related with the emergence of preafference. It is concluded that only humans can create numbers, whereas animals simply produce ‘random’ sequences of symbols because they lack intentionality to search for an appropriate internal observation window that makes intention and memory compatible.

Clinique des raisonnements collectifs accomplis par des dyades réussissant la tâche de sélection de Wason dans sa version abstraite

We study the resolution of the abstract selection task in a context of cooperative dialogue. We make 59 students achieve the task individually and 32 dyads (recording their dialogue). In accordance with the literature, the dyads perform significantly better than the students alone. We then highlight the logical strategies at work in the conversations of the four dyads which succeed in the task with a theory of the logical form of the interlocutory events such as they arise phenomenally: the interlocutory logic. These strategies are emergent products of the dialogue since no member of the dyads knows them before the interaction. It is surely by supporting the emergence of such joint cognitions that the interaction is a factor of cognitive progress.     

汉语作为第二语言的越南大学生汉字部件意识的发展*

以226名将汉语作为第二语言的越南大学一到四年级学生为研究对象,以低频独体字、部件熟悉假字和部件不熟悉假字为材料,采用延迟书写任务,考察了不同年级的越南大学生汉字部件意识的发展及其影响因素。结果发现：（1）学习3个月汉语的大一学生能以部件作为汉字加工单元,其延迟书写部件熟悉假字显著好于低频独体字,并与高年级学生没有差异,说明越南大学生很早就发展出了汉字部件意识;（2）不同年级大学生书写部件不熟悉假字的成绩都显著低于部件熟悉假字,也低于低频独体字,表明部件构字能力是越南大学生汉字书写的重要影响因素。（3）越南大一学生的汉字书写成绩受到汉字结构的影响,左右结构优于上下结构,但其他年级的成绩不受汉字结构的影响。

知情同意最初由美国于18世纪末19世纪初提出,随着社会不断进步,医学科学的不断发展,人们权力意识的不断增强,知情同意作为患者享有的一项权力,医务人员在医疗过程中应遵循的一条原则已日益到人们的关注。然而在现实的医疗实践中人们对这一的理解和认识还存在一定的偏差。正确理解,践行知情同意既是尊重患者的权利,贯彻“以病人为中心”的原则的保证,也能有效地保护医务人员的合法权益。
