Traffic management policies aim to improve traffic flow by influencing the route choice of drivers, therefore preventing traffic jams in crowded cities. With respect to a system-optimum of the traffic network, drivers might have to make small-scale detours. The aim of this article is to encourage unselfish route choice behaviour in an urban context by informing drivers in advance about the objectives of traffic management. Two studies were conducted: (1) an online survey (N = 244) and (2) a driving simulation study (N = 48). The first study focussed on the general effect of recommendations for routes with longer travel times (system-optimal routes) when traffic management is explained. Other route choice attributes (travel time, red-light duration, time pressure) were analysed as well. Drivers were randomly confronted with 35 route choice scenarios consisting of a main route with certain red-light duration and an alternative route without. Results showed that the compliance with system-optimal routes is increased by around 10 percentage points when comparing the group with recommendation to the group without. This effect occurred independently of the variation of other route choice attributes. The second study aimed to determine if the compliance can be increased even more if drivers receive in-depth information about traffic management and experience ‘good’ as well as ‘bad’ recommendations in a driving simulator. Results showed no further effect of these manipulations on route choice. Only decision-making times and subjective evaluation were influenced by in-depth information compared to basic information. Altruism was partly correlated with decision-making. This article shows a novel approach to encouraging drivers to select routes with longer travel times for the benefit of the common good. Drivers’ knowledge gap regarding traffic management needs to be closed in order to enhance their understanding of traffic regulations. Finally, results of this research should be transferred to driver models within traffic simulations to estimate the effects on traffic networks.  相似文献

以大学生为被试作了两个实验,研究群际情境下向上社会比较信息对自我评价的影响。实验1的结果表明,对于多数派群体的成员来说,来自内群体的向上社会比较信息会提高其自我评价,即产生同化效应,而来自外群体的向上社会比较信息会降低其自我评价,即产生对比效应;对于少数派群体的成员来说,无论向上社会比较信息来自内群体还是外群体,都对其自我评价几乎不产生影响。实验2表明,多数派群体成员在自我评价上的内群体同化效应依赖于群际对比。  相似文献

Two experiments were conducted to extend the blocking effect to the reinforcement of a response. A delayed reinforcement contingency was presented to subjects with or without a previously pretrained response available during the delay interval. The interpolated response had no scheduled effect on delivery of the reinforcer, but its availability reduced strengthening of the initial response, which completely extinguished for some subjects. The results were interpreted as support for blocking as a fundamental principle of behavior, and as evidence against the principle of reinforcement being stated solely in terms of temporal proximity between response and reinforcer.  相似文献

Up to now theories of semantic information have implicitly relied on logical monism, or the view that there is one true logic. The latter position has been explicitly challenged by logical pluralists. Adopting an unbiased attitude in the philosophy of information, we take a suggestion from Beall and Restall at heart and exploit logical pluralism to recognise another kind of pluralism. The latter is called informational pluralism, a thesis whose implications for a theory of semantic information we explore. This study investigated how discrete social information processing (SIP) steps may combine with one another to create distinct groups of youth who are characterized by particular patterns of SIP. SIP assessments were conducted on a community sample of 576 children in kindergarten, with follow-up assessments in grades 3, 8, and 11. At each age, four profiles were created, representing youth with no SIP problems, with early step SIP problems (encoding or making hostile attributions), with later step SIP problems (selecting instrumental goals, generating aggressive responses, or evaluating aggression positively), and with pervasive SIP problems. Although patterns of SIP problems were related to concurrent externalizing during elementary school, the consistency between cognition and future externalizing behavior was not as strong in elementary school as it was between grades 8 and 11. In some cases, youth characterized by the co-occurrence of problems in early and later SIP steps had higher externalizing scores than did youth characterized by problems in just one or the other.  相似文献

In the second (and expanded) version of Origin of the Species, Darwin introduces the term “advanced progressive development” in an attempt to describe the development of the more complex species from the simpler ones. More than 100 years have passed since Darwin tried to qualify and conceptualize the directional question of evolution, and very little progress has been made regarding the subject. The appearance of the species, from the simple to the more complex, is today an empirical fact, one which is no longer dependent upon any theory, including that of Darwin. This work examines the subject of advanced development in evolution by attempting to answer a few basic questions: What parameters may be used to evaluate complexity? Can any rules or order be identified as to the development of the species? Is the mechanism of “natural selection” sufficient to explain the direction or ‘purpose’ of evolution? Can the human race be included within the “rules” of Darwin's evolutionary theory?

The purpose of this essay is to develop and represent a new conceptual framework. Through this, it will be possible to offer a principle answer to all four questions.  相似文献

本研究采用经典的句尾畸义词诱发N400的ERP实验范式探讨了中国英语学习者在进行英文阅读时语音的影响及其相关脑机制。实验包括两类畸义语句:1.同音畸义:句尾词有畸义,但语音和相应正常语义句尾词相同;2.非同音畸义:句尾词有畸义,且语音和相应正常语义句尾词不同。行为数据显示:在错误率上同音畸义显著地高于非同音畸义。ERP显示:无论在早期(N100)还是晚期(N400)脑电成份上,同音畸义和非同音畸义的ERP振幅都有明显差异。本研究从行为和脑电两个方面一致揭示中国英语学习者阅读英文时受到了语音的影响。  相似文献

为了解近10年(2006~2016)来美国18岁及以下的儿童青少年创伤后应激障碍(PTSD)治疗研究的热点和重点,利用Bicomb 2.0软件和IBM SPSS Statistics 20.0软件,对ISI Web of Science数据库中查询到的363篇论文进行了知识图谱的可视化分析。结果表明,近10年来美国儿童青少年PTSD治疗研究可分为两个大的研究领域。领域一为儿童青少年PTSD的精神科和神经生物学相关的治疗,包括了两个小的研究热点:(1)儿童青少年PTSD精神科药物治疗相关的研究;(2)儿童青少年PTSD眼动脱敏再加工治疗等神经生物学机制的疗法。领域二为儿童青少年PTSD的心理学治疗,包括了两个小的研究热点:(1)家庭暴力导致的儿童青少年PTSD心理学治疗研究;(2)儿童青少年PTSD的认知行为治疗研究。其中关于儿童青少年PTSD的认知行为治疗研究是研究的热点和重点领域,但关于儿童青少年PTSD治疗效果的长期纵向研究还较为缺乏,未来研究者应加强对儿童青少年PTSD治疗效果的追踪研究,并开展心理治疗与药物治疗相结合的疗效研究。  相似文献
