This paper seeks to provide a philosophical analysis of the features of an excellent professor, but a well-balanced one, professionally speaking. What makes for excellence in research, teaching and service is explored in some detail, with attention paid to the contexts of four-year colleges and comprehensive universities in the united states.     

我国老年人的社会支持与服务

鉴于我国老龄化现状,简要地回顾了社会支持的定义与种类,考察了我国传统的孝顺价值观和行为;并着重分析了我国老年人的社会支持与服务,包括老年人的社会支持与幸福感,老年人的家庭支持与照料,老年组织与公共老年服务;以及我国老年人社会支持的城乡差异。     

关于大学生心理障碍干预模式的理论建构

本文在已有研究的基础上,根据大学生心理发展与心理素质的特点和不同心理学派的理论观点建构了大学生心理障碍干预模式,该模式由多维系统的干预途径、多样渗透的干预方法、丰富全面的干预工作内容和完善化人性化的干预机制组成,它们之间的关系既是独立的,又是相互协调和影响的。体现了大学生心理障碍干预模式的系统完整性及实施干预的灵活多样性和明确针对性。     

Rural Marriage and Family Therapists: A Pilot Study

Marriage and family therapists practice in more than a third of the rural counties in the United States. However, little is known about the practice patterns of marriage and family therapists who practice in rural settings. This pilot study examined the clinical practice and community involvement of a sample of licensed marriage and family therapists in rural Texas. The results contribute to a small but developing body of research about a relatively unknown group of practitioners.     

综合医院开展临床预防服务的可行性

临床预防服务是预防医学的重要组成部分,也是临床医学的重要内容。鉴于慢性非传染性疾病对社会、家庭及个人的负担越来越重,在各级医院尤其综合医院开展临床预防服务,对预防慢性病的发生、发展,降低死亡率、减轻社会、家庭负担,将起到事半功倍的作用,产生深远影响。     

新型农村合作医疗的受益公平性研究

2003年,我国开展了新型农村合作医疗制度(以下简称“新农合”)试点工作。利用新农合试点县卫生服务调查资料,从卫生服务需要量、利用率、医疗费用以及从新农合得到的费用补偿等方面分析不同收入水平的参合农民的受益情况。结果显示,贫困农民卫生服务需要量大,卫生服务需求的未满足程度较高,从合作医疗中受益相对较少。认为不同经济状况的参合农民在卫生服务利用中存在不公平现象。     

美国社区卫生服务运行机制和管理模式研究

美国的卫生服务系统由社区卫生服务和医院服务两大部分组成。通过从组织形式、筹资机制、人力资源、动力与约束机制以及管理几个方面,对美国社区卫生服务的运行机制与管理模式进行分析,以期对我国社区卫生的发展有所借鉴与帮助。

态度测量的新进展:二值概率展开模型及一般形式

态度测量主要应用两种模型:累进型与展开型。目前国内的相关研究主要针对累进型模型。文章在回顾累进型模型的基础上,介绍了当前国际研究最为前沿的一种新的态度测量模型———二值概率展开模型,并详细阐述了该模型的一般数学表达式。     

Voluntary sector counselling: Has inadequate research resulted in a misunderstood and underutilised resource?

Although much counselling already takes place in the voluntary sector, little is known about the nature of the work being done or about its effectiveness or the training and experience of its practitioners. Given the gap between the demand for and supply of psychological therapies in Britain today, lack of research into the effectiveness of this work could mean that a valuable resource is being under‐utilised. This paper describes a study of a large, generic counselling centre and, using the CORE monitoring and evaluation system, makes comparisons between its work and that of a number of NHS psychological therapy services. It shows; that it is of at least as complex or severe a nature; and that it is as effective. It also shows that the therapy carried out in this agency is done by appropriately qualified and experienced practitioners.
