Abstract In this work results of a Monte Carlo simulation of the ion penetration in a crystalline silicon target are reported. We have fabricated a molecular organic light-emitting device comprising indium–tin oxide/a molecular organic layer/aluminum in which the organic layer is a green fluorescent protein. The device exhibits peak external quantum and power efficiencies of 8?±?0.2% and 13?±?0.7?lm?W???1 at a current of J?=?1.5?A?m?2, respectively. In addition, the turn-on voltage is 2.5?V for 1?cd?m?2 and the maximum luminance achieved is 1275?cd?m?2. This good performance can be explained by the presence of singlet-excited states, leading to a high internal efficiency. 相似文献

The partitioning of the trace element Sn into Cu-rich precipitates in a low-alloy pressure-vessel steel has been characterized using the three-dimensional atom probe (3DAP) technique. This investigation has revealed for the first time that the trace element Sn, present at only 0.007?at.% in the steel, partitions strongly to both small spherical precipitates (<4?nm in diameter) and to large non-spherical precipitates (largest dimension 10–50?nm) during thermal ageing. Sn was also seen to segregate strongly to the precipitate/matrix interface of a large Cu precipitate and particularly in the region where a dislocation appears to intersect the precipitate. The strong attraction of large solute atoms to special sites probably drives the interfacial segregation of Sn. This is consistent with the observation of stronger segregation of Sn to the interface of large precipitates than to the coherent interface of smaller precipitates. 相似文献

Abstract We study the propagation of shear horizontal waves between the interface of piezoelectric and piezomagnetic half-spaces with a magneto-electro-mechanical imperfect contact. Mechanical, electrical and magnetical imperfections are modelled by means of a spring, a capacitor and a inductor, respectively. A general expression for the dispersion relation not reported previously in literature is given in an explicit form, with the diverse limit cases analysed in detail. In some of these limit cases, new expressions are also obtained which predict the existence of interfacial waves. In the other cases, when already reported results exist, a comparison with them is done. Some physical interpretations are derived from the limit cases. The influence of mechanical, electrical and magnetical imperfect contacts are shown in some numerical examples. 相似文献

A facile route has been developed to synthesise mesoporous SBA-15 using mild H3PO4 (replacing the most commonly used strong acid HC1) as the medium and the effects of H3PO4 concentration and synthesis temperature on the mesostructure and morphology of the resultant materials investigated. The results demonstrate that a more ordered structure can be obtained at low H3PO4 concentration (1–2?M), while a higher H3PO4 concentration (3–4?M) results in a less ordered structure. Furthermore, the morphology of SBA-15 particles transforms from rod-like to sphere-like with increasing H3PO4 concentration. 相似文献

Bulk synthesis of few-layer graphene (FLG) for industrial applications still remains a challenge for researchers. Here, we report a very simple technique for bulk synthesis of FLG by femtosecond laser ablation of graphite powder suspended in ethanol without the requirement of a controlled environment. Graphite powder, with an average particle size <20 μm, was suspended uniformly in ethanol and ablated at room temperature using fs pulses (wavelength ~800 nm and an input beam diameter ~8 mm) followed by ultrasonication to obtain FLG with a lateral size of ~1 μm. Raman spectroscopy and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy data confirmed the nature and morphology of the FLG. The quality and number of layers in the FLG could be controlled by tuning the laser parameters. 相似文献

Microstructure of a nanocrystalline soft magnetic Fe85Si2B8P4Cu1 alloy (NANOMET®) was investigated by the state of the art spherical aberration-corrected TEM/STEM. Observation by TEM shows that the microstructure of NANOMET® heat treated at 738 K for 600 s which exhibits the optimum soft magnetic properties has homogeneously distributed bcc-Fe nanocrystallites with the average grain size of 30 nm embedded in an amorphous matrix. Elemental mappings indicate that P is excluded from bcc-Fe grains and enriched outside the grains, which causes to retard the grain growth of bcc-Fe crystallites. The aberration-corrected STEM-EDS analysis with the ultrafine electron probe successfully proved that Cu atoms form nanometre scale clusters inside and/or outside the bcc-Fe nanocrystallites. 相似文献
