随着我国人口老龄化趋势的加快,心血管疾病患病率、病死率不断上升,并往往伴随异常的心理状态,在传统治疗基础上辅以心理干预,将会改善患者的生活质量和预后。矛盾分析法是运用对立统一规律,观察、分析社会现象,应贯穿于心血管疾病心理治疗的全部过程。

随着人们平均寿命的延长,对生活质量要求的不断提高,绝经后的问题也日益受到全社会的广泛关注,绝经后骨质疏松和冠心病、阿尔茨海默病等的增加引起人们对激素替代治疗(HRT)的兴趣,其旨在改善妇女生活质量。但随着研究的深入,其所引发的问题也不断涌现。HRT对绝经后妇女的生活质量究竟是否有总体益处已成为目前关注的焦点。自从1963年Wilson倡导HRT以来,HRT的发展走过了一段曲折之路,对HRT的认识,经历了几十年反复的过程,体现了辩证唯物主义认识论和矛盾论的观点。     

医学生临床实习与考研矛盾的思考及对策

近几年来由于各种原因造成的医学生临床实习与考研的矛盾在全国各地已经非常普遍,也引起了医学院校和教学医院相关人士的诸多讨论,但目前仍没有一个两全其美的解决方案。就这个问题进行了总结和思考,并提出了一个有可能解决这一矛盾的方案。     

临床肺减容术发展历程中的矛盾思辨

晚期肺气肿是进行性恶化的常见呼吸系统疾病。由于内科药物治疗不能彻底遏制疾病的自然进程,外科肺减容术应时而生。但手术治疗有着与生俱来的缺点,因此内科介入肺减容术基于相似的机理出现了,并可与外科手术序贯应用。这种矛盾双方的对立与统一促进了该领域的发展,也是一种解决临床问题的重要辩证思维。     

The Corporeal Order of Things: The <Emphasis Type="Italic">Spiel</Emphasis> of Usability

Things make sense to us. The identity of a thing is a meaningful style that expresses the usability of the thing. The usability is a dynamic order of the praxis in which the thing is embedded and in which we are ourselves de-centered. According to Merleau-Ponty, this sociocultural and psychosocial order is a formation of practical understanding and interpretation that rests upon and resumes the elementary, perceptual-expressive structuring of being. The Spiel is one of the three dimensions of corporeal intentionality, in which this entire organization of meaning and experience unfolds. So, the Spiel of usability is a corporeal and practical intentionality that reaches from an aesthetic-ontological structuring of meaning to the order of the things in modern everyday praxes.     

Curriculum, Critical Common-Sensism, Scholasticism, and the Growth of Democratic Character

My paper concentrates on Peirce’s late essay, “Issues of Pragmaticism,” which identifies “critical common-sensism” and Scotistic realism as the two primary products of pragmaticism. I argue that the doctrines of Peirce’s critical common-sensism provide a host of commendable curricular objectives for democratic Bildung. The second half of my paper explores Peirce’s Scotistic realism. I argue that Peirce eventually returned to Aristotelian intuitions that led him to a more robust realism. I focus on the development of signs from the vague and indeterminate to the determinate and universal. The primary example will be the evolution of the very idea of number. I believe we will never arrive at the end of number history because we can never fully contain creativity. I draw similar conclusions for the idea of curriculum. Whether or not there is an end to the evolution of signs in Peirce is a matter of debate. I incline toward the opinion there is not, though I am unsure. I conclude by arguing that rationality itself is but the form and structure of poetic creation and that we should embrace paradox and even contradiction rather that become caught in totalizing and totalitarian end of history stories.

The linguistic theory of the logical A Priori: is it obsolete In holistic interpretations, the logical truths are considered as continuous with empirical science: they are revisable, a posteriori, though very near to the centre of our web of belief. In this paper, we consider the merits and demerits of this approach, and we propose that it is necessary to revaluate holistic philosophies of logic. Some arguments are put forward which point in favour of the logical empiricists’ theory of logical truth. We argue (following Hartry Field) that the concept of “correlation between logical facts and logical beliefs” (which is at the heart of the holistic theory) is inconsistent. Finally, we concentrate on the principle of contradiction and argue (following Manley Thompson) that this principle is fundamental for meaning, truth, and thinking. This thesis is derived from considerations on the nature of intentionality. This revised version was published online in August 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.
