This paper discusses raciality and Africanist culture as elements of the analytical clinical experience. The history of American Jungian psychology, and its relationship with the African diaspora, is reviewed with a perspective that seeks to deepen understanding of racism as an aspect of psychoanalytical institutional life. An attempt to separate political activism from the clinical setting is explored with consideration of the necessary intertwining relationship between socialization, racial identity and racism. Diversity and inclusion are becoming cultural signature markers of clinical work with individuals who have oftentimes, within the psychoanalytical clinical setting, been described due to ethnicity, as other. Political activism such as the Black Lives Matter movement stretches consciousness towards an insistence that blackness matters, skin colour matters and the lives of Africanist individuals matter. This paper reflects on cultural racial identity, the influence of politics on the individual, and the effects of these on the analytical relationship.  相似文献

This work originates from reflections on the observation of recurring themes in dreams of patients in psychoanalytic treatment during the most restrictive lockdown period in Italy (March - May 2020). The authors focus on the peculiar dialogic state between consciousness and the unconscious that arose following a collective event such as that of the pandemic, which determined the activation of complex personal nuclei, compensatory effects of the unconscious psyche and new perspective functions. These latter aspects are interpreted with reference to the contributions of Erich Neumann, bringing a new psychological vision of the relationship between Man and Nature in relation to catastrophic events.  相似文献

以4个实验,用图示法对键盘的时间精度作了比较分析。实验1表明PES心理实验系统反应键和键盘都有良好的时间精度。实验2表明键盘的时间精度具有很大的个体差异,范围从1-2毫秒到40多毫秒,其中PS2的键盘普遍不理想。实验3表明键盘的时间精度不受转接器和计算机主频的影响。实验4使用了3名操作者,证实了这种方法的效果基本不受操作者个体差异的影响。研究演示了图示法在计算机控制的心理学实验中确定仪器的时间精度的作用,提示了实验中需要针对具体的实验条件判断时间精度是否符合实验要求,来确定是否选用特殊的反应键或者选择何种键盘作为反应的方式。  相似文献

Zusammenfassung  Der Beitrag referiert den aktuellen Kenntnisstand über psychologische Ursachen und Einflussfaktoren bei pathologischem Glücksspiel. Weder die Konzeptualisierung nach dem Suchtmodell noch das Konstrukt der Impulskontrollst?rung sind gut geeignet, das Besondere dieser St?rung des Sozialverhaltens zu erfassen. Pathologisches Glücksspielen erweist sich als erlerntes Verhaltensmuster, das auf ganz unterschiedliche Ursachen zurückgehen kann. Es gibt keinen einheitlichen Typus des exzessiven Spielers. Es gibt Formen des Glücksspiels (Roulette, Pferdewetten), die vor allem genutzt werden, um Spannung und Erregung zu erleben, und andere Formen (insbesondere das Spielen an deutschen Geldspielautomaten), die eher zur Ablenkung, Beruhigung und Problemverdr?ngung dienen. Dargestellt wird das breite Spektrum komorbider St?rungen, insbesondere affektiver Erkrankungen und Pers?nlichkeitsst?rungen. The paper argues for a new perspective on the relationship between Buddhism and European psychology, or sciences of the mind, based in the Kegon Sutra, a text that emerged in the early stages of Mahayana Buddhism (3rd ‐ 5th century CE). The basis of European science is logos intellection, formalized by Aristotle as following three laws: the law of identity, the law of contradiction and the law of the excluded middle. Logic in the Buddhist tradition, by contrast, is based in lemma (meaning to understand as a whole not with language, but with intuition). Lemma‐based science born in the Buddhist tradition shows that rational perception is possible even without the three laws of logos. The Kegon Sutra, which explains what Buddha preached only a week after he attained enlightenment, is unified under the logic of lemma and can be seen as an effort to create a ‘lemma science of the mind’. The fundamental teaching of the Kegon Sutra is explored, and its principles are compared with primary process thinking and the unconscious as outlined by Freud and Jung. Jung's research of Eastern texts led him to create a science of the mind that went further than Freud: his concept of synchronicity is given by way of example and can be seen anew within the idea of a lemma‐based science.  相似文献

While transgenderism as a cultural phenomenon seems to be based on a collective taste for the sensational, its emergence represents a collective shift towards a new or more differentiated way of experiencing and expressing sex and gender, a movement of world soul. This paper attempts to explore that emergence from a Jungian perspective. The paper utilizes clinical examples which illustrate how dissociated aspects of the personality are seeking assimilation and expression in order to move the personality towards greater wholeness. In that sense, it attempts to understand the teleology of transgenderism on an individual and collective level. The paper is intended as a starting‐off point for discussion and explores gender as fantasy, anima/animus dynamics, the psyche/soma relationship, the role of hormones/biochemistry in our experience of ourselves and what transgender people carry and suffer for our culture.  相似文献

Psychoanalysis (including analytical psychology), once a pioneering and forward‐looking movement of the early 20th century has now become a conservative backward‐looking ‘tradition’. After considering some of the internal problems associated with this historical change such as idealization and tribalism, some ways forward are suggested – a focus on clinical excellence as practical craft, openness to the unknown and engagement with others beyond the confines of private practice.  相似文献

Using a methodology derived from management and organizational studies, the author reviews the future of Jungian analysis. The methodology is termed SWOT – strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats. A selected list in each of these categories is presented.
