儒家时中是中和世界观和中庸方法论的统一 ,时中的内涵实质在依时而中、与时俱进 ,儒家的时中观包涵着深刻的唯物辩证思想 ,包含着强烈的适应进取精神 ,蕴涵着鲜明的知识理性内容。时中是儒家的真精神 ,是中华民族的真精神 ,是今天实现中华民族伟大复兴的真精神。     

The essence, characteristics and limitation of post-colonialism: from Karl Marx’s point of view

Following postmodernism, post-colonialism reflects modernity from a new perspective—the cultural perspective. Post-colonialism interprets colonialism contained in modernity, deconstructs orientalism and cultural hegemonism, and turns western reflection of modernity into an inquiry about the global relationship between the East and the West. Post-colonialism brings forward a new theoretical domain, that is, the colonizational relationship between the East and the West in the process of modernization. This interpretation expresses a strong tendency of anti-western centrality and shares some ideas with marxism. Philosophy and reflection: A critique of Frank Welz’s sociological and “processual” criticism of Husserl and Schutz

Frank Welz’s Kritik der Lebenswelt undertakes a sociology of knowledge criticism of the work of Edmund Husserl and Alfred Schutz that construes them as developing absolutist, egological systems opposed to the “processual” worldview prominent since the modern rise of natural science. Welz, though, misunderstands the work of Schutz and Husserl and neglects how their focus on consciousness and eidetic features pertains to the kind of reflection that one must undertake if one would avoid succumbing to absolutism, that uncovers the presuppositions of the processual worldview itself, and that secures a domain distinctive of philosophy over against sociology. Finally, Welz’s charge that Schutz favors a Neo-Kantian social scientific methodology contradictory to his phenomenology neglects the levels of Schutz’s discourse and ignores how the Weberian ideal-typical approach can be subsumed within phenomenology.

人的全面发展学说与中国马克思主义

人的全面发展学说,对中国马克思主义理论来说,主要涉及三方面问题。首先,如何认识人道主义和马克思主义的关系,即两者是对立的还是相容的,不同的看法,意味着人的全面发展是否具有马克思主义基本原理的地位。其次,如何认识自我的社会本质和具体存在的关系,以往是注重社会本质而忽略具体存在,突出表现在把人的本质归结为阶级性,由此人的全面发展失去了理论的立足点。再次,如何认识个人发展和社会发展的关系,过去把集体主义和个人主义的对立绝对化,出现了类似空想社会主义的片面性,即只强调个人是服务于集体的工具,不能将个人发展和社会发展看作是互为目的和手段。中国近20多年来,两次讨论人的全面发展问题,对此前的失误有所克服。     

How to tell essence (when you sense one)

How could perceptual experiences reveal matters of essentiality? Answering this question is crucial for vindicating a thesis about the epistemic import of experience, commonly known as Revelation. The thesis comes in a weak and a strong version. Only on the strong one could it make up an authoritative piece of common sense. But this version also seems to demand too much of our experiences, namely that they can reveal essentiality. However, the impression that our experiences are not suited for this turns out to be due to a non-mandatory assumption about how the revelation of essentiality would work.

How Causal is Downward Causation?

Summary  The purpose of this paper is to lay bare the major problems underlying the concept of downward causation as discussed within the perspective of the present interest for phenomena that are characterized by self-organization.In our discussion of the literature, we have focussed on two questions: (1) What sorts of things are said to be, respectively, causing and caused within the context of downward causation? And (2) What is the meaning of ‘causing’ in downward causation? We have concluded that the concept of ‘downward causation’ is muddled with regard to the meaning of causation and fuzzy with regard to the nature of the causes and the effects. Moreover, we have concluded that ‘causation’ in respect of ‘downward causation’ is usually understood in terms of explanation and determination rather than in terms of causation in the sense of ‘bringing about’. Thus, the term ‘downward causation’ is badly chosen.     

Propositional Logic of Essence

This paper presents a propositional version of Kit Fine"s (quantified) logic for essentialist statements, provides it with a semantics, and proves the former adequate (i.e. sound and complete) with respect to the latter.
