Quality home visits: Activities to promote meaningful interactions

Examination of and support for specific practices that promote high-quality home visiting are essential as family support programs continue to expand across the country. The current study used direct observation of 91 home visits across 41 home visitors to examine relations among interaction partners, content of the interactions, the home-visitors’ activities, and quality of home-visitors’ practices and family-members’ engagement within programs funded by the Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting program. More time spent in triadic interactions focused on child-related content, as measured by the Home Visit Rating Scale-Revised, was related to higher quality of family engagement in home visits, as measured with the Home Visit Observation Rating Scales. Time spent in adult-focused interactions and administrative tasks, however, was related to lower quality of home-visiting practices and family engagement. Implications for research and practice are discussed.     

大学生情绪复杂性对情绪信息注意偏向的影响

为考察大学生情绪复杂性对情绪信息注意偏向的影响,通过情绪体验范围和区分性量表(RDEES)筛选出高低情绪复杂性被试各30名,采用2(情绪复杂性:高、低)×3(效价:正性、中性和负性)×4(呈现条件:0/300/600/900ms)的三因素混合设计要求被试完成视觉搜索任务。结果显示:(1)高、低情绪复杂性组在情绪条件(正性、负性)下的正确率显著低于中性图片、反应时显著高于中性图片,均表现出对情绪图片的注意偏向;(2)高分组在正性图片0ms呈现的条件下的正确率显著高于低分组,在负性图片300ms和900ms呈现和正性图片900ms呈现条件下的反应时显著低于低分组。     

中小学生校园阅读推进的主要问题与对策研究——以广州市越秀区小学为例

全民阅读是党和国家高度重视的发展战略,校园阅读是其中的重点,然而,目前我国校园阅读的开展并不理想。通过在广州市中小学进行大规模阅读状况调研发现,校园阅读工作开展一直面临“难知、难导、难管”的瓶颈,实际成效不佳。对此,该研究提出了通过构建“互联网+中小学生成长阅读平台”推进校园阅读的创新举措,并在广州市越秀区20多所小学实施试点实验; 历时半年,成效显著,学生在阅读的重视程度、投入时间、阅读课外图书的意义性与均衡性、阅读的方式方法及家校支持等方面均有明显提升。据此,提出推进校园阅读的三点建议:应做好顶层设计和建立系统管理与评价机制,应形成家校合作的支持网络,应推广共建学生校园阅读综合信息平台。     

The relationship between neuroticism and night eating: exploring the mediating roles of psychological distress and maladaptive coping

Night Eating Syndrome has been shown to be associated with various negative physical and psychological consequences. This study explored the relationship between neuroticism and night eating, which had not been studied before. We also examined the possible mediating roles of psychological distress and maladaptive coping for the relationship between neuroticism and night eating. A sample of 578 Chinese college students were assessed on several measures: The Revised Eysenck Personality Questionnaire Short Scale, the Night Eating Questionnaire, the Depression Anxiety Stress Scales, and the Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire. Results indicated that neuroticism was significantly and positively related to night eating (r = .38, p < .01), and the relationship between neuroticism and night eating was partially mediated by psychological distress, but not by maladaptive coping. The results not only revealed a medium-sized relationship between neuroticism and night eating, but also pointed out the importance of psychological distress as related to the relationship between neuroticism and night eating. Unlike neuroticism, which is a personality trait, psychological distress is an emotional state, and it is much more malleable through appropriate intervention. The treatment and intervention for night eating may benefit from our attention to the psychological distress.     

人类文明新形态与生态文明——世界著名后现代思想家小约翰·柯布访谈录

旅美学者王治河、樊美筠博士2021年9月9日对世界著名后现代思想家小约翰·柯布进行访谈。在访谈中,柯布博士强调,虽然西方现代性有许多值得赞扬的成就,但它正在削弱维持人类文明的可能性,正成为"世界的毁灭者"。如果中国能够充分利用自己深刻的有机过程思维和悠久的天人合一传统这些思想上的优势,在深层次上自觉与西方占统治地位的现代性意识形态决裂,坚定不移地走人与自然和谐共生的中国式现代化道路,创造人类文明新形态,这将给全球生态文明建设带来希望之光。在柯布看来,如果中国的学校能够培养出成千上万高素质的后现代农人,那就是对生态文明的巨大贡献,也是中国对人类的巨大贡献。

倡导建设宗教文明①应与积极引导宗教与社会主义社会相适应结合起来。沿着这一思路进一步深入思考,建设宗教文明的提法略显宽泛,因此,本文提出现代宗教文明的新界定,并认为建设现代宗教文明是积极引导宗教与社会主义社会相适应的基本途径和主要方式。并从基本概念、命题内涵和任务目标三个方面作了详细论证。     

伊斯兰原教旨主义在东南亚的传播及影响

伊斯兰原教旨主义在20世纪70年代以后传入东南亚,对东南亚伊斯兰社会的政治、经济、文化、社会生活产生深刻影响。主要表现在东南亚穆斯林的伊斯兰信仰大大提高,整个社会的伊斯兰气氛越来越浓厚;促使穆斯林妇女更回归传统性别规范;引发伊斯兰极端主义的兴起和发展;加剧了伊斯兰政治化倾向。     

“西方马克思主义”论域的历史构形与逻辑边界

本文通过对"西方马克思主义"这一术语的形成史的缜密考证,揭开了围绕这一概念的种种迷雾。本文认为,尽管"西方马克思主义"这一论域并不存在刚性的、僵硬的逻辑边界,但这并不意味着它根本不存在相对确定的、可以用理性语言精确描述的逻辑边界,只不过这条边界线是弹性的、模糊的、因场景而变化的。本文还提出了四种不同的、但又可以共存的"西方马克思主义"概念。
