Telehealth Monitoring of Patients with Schizophrenia and Suicidal Ideation

A telehealth system was developed to monitor risk following hospitalization for suicidal ideation. We hypothesized that 3 months of telehealth monitoring will result in a greater reduction in suicidal ideation. Veterans with schizophrenia admitted with recent suicidal ideation and/or a suicidal attempt were recruited into a discharge program of VA Usual Care with daily Health Buddy© monitoring (HB) or Usual Care (UC) alone. Fifteen of 25 were randomized to HB and 10 received UC. Daily adherence in the use of the HB system during months 1–3 was, respectively, 86.9%, 86.3%, and 84.1%. There were significant improvements in Beck Scale for Suicide Ideation scores in HB participants. There were no changes in depressive symptoms. Telehealth monitoring for this population of patients appears to be feasible.     

The Three‐Component Model of Organisational Commitment: An Application to South Korea

We conducted two studies to determine whether the three‐component model of organisational commitment (Meyer & Allen, 1991) is generalisable to a non‐Western culture using data from South Korea. In Study 1, we found that when the 6‐item versions of the scales (Meyer, Allen, & Smith, 1993) were translated into Korean, the psychometric properties of the Affective Commitment Scale were similar to those found in North America, but problems were identified in the Continuance and Normative Commitment Scales. In Study 2, we found that these problems could be overcome by adopting a revised set of items written in North America. The new scales demonstrated good psychometric properties in terms of factorial validity, internal consistency, and criterion‐related validity with respect to turnover intention. We concluded that the three commitment constructs are likely to generalise to non‐Western cultures, but that there might be a need to refine the measures for cross‐cultural research.

道教及其思想对于中国古代伦理思想的发展起了不可替代的重要作用,主要表现为三个方面:其一,通过天道论、宗教神学以及修道成仙论,对伦理道德作了宗教的诠释,使之得到强化;其二,在心性论、平等观、生命价值、生态伦理等方面,对伦理思想作了重要的补充,使之更加完善;其三,讲求不言之教,宣扬善恶报应,落实积功累德,为道德教化提供了可行的方法,使之广泛深入.     

背景任务对前瞻记忆策略加工的影响:一项ERPs研究

采用事件相关电位技术(ERPs),用双任务加工范式探讨背景任务的难度对前瞻记忆策略加工的影响。行为结果表明,背景任务的反应时显著长于前瞻任务,随着任务难度的增大,被试的反应时增加;脑电结果表明,前瞻线索诱发的N300的潜伏期在高难度任务条件下短于低难度任务条件,而波幅在高难度任务条件下小于低难度任务条件。前瞻线索诱发的前瞻正波的波幅在高难度任务条件下高于低难度任务条件。这一结果表明,背景任务的特征调节了前瞻记忆的加工策略。     

从道教学视野考察王羲之父子书法“即兴创作”

魏晋书法创作受玄学影响,讲究"得意"。偶然寄兴,随机生发,意到气到,一鼓作气,一挥而就,与环境形成互动,往往产生意想不到的艺术效果与社会效应。天下第一行书《兰亭序》就是通过即兴创作诞生的书法杰作。二王作为天师道徒,其书法即兴创作既展现了自身创作才能,又反映了通过书法弘道扬德,普度众生的情怀;同时,也蕴含了畅神登仙的艺术效果。然而,这种创作是平时积累悟道功夫的结果,即所谓"外师造化,中得心源"。     

简析西安东岳庙主殿壁画艺术

西安东岳庙是陕西省关中地区东岳大帝的总祠,该庙主殿壁画是陕西省内已知道教宫观壁画中单幅面积最大的,该壁画是陕西境内不可多得的道教壁画之一,是研究陕西地区宋代至清代东岳信仰发展历史中的重要一环,对丰富中国道教美术史具有重要意义。本文从壁画的绘制时间和内容题材入手,对壁画的艺术特色进行较为深入的分析。     

东晋南朝士人与佛教之关系浅析

佛教入华后至东晋才开始盛行,其重要原因即佛教至此始为士人普遍接受,从而逐步成为上流士大夫思潮之中心。本文主要讨论了东晋南朝时期士人接受佛教的过程中所呈现出的一些基本特征,分析了士人信仰转向佛教的主要原因,士人群体由个人化到集团化再到国家化的奉佛历程,以及士人对佛教的不同态度。     

科技与伦理的断想——竞技运动发展之路的抉择

科技在一定程度上促进了体育的发展,但是现在竞技运动过多地依靠了科技,使竞技运动的发展出现了部分异化的现象和存在了违反道德(体育价值)的现象。道德作为一种价值引领了竞技运动的健康发展。本文在肯定科技对体育发展的功绩的同时,提出科技过多作用于竞技运动所带来的竞技运动发展困境。为了解决科技在竞技运动发展中的困境,指出科技运用于竞技运动需要做到与道德的协调。
