《封神演义》与宗教

<封神演义>的主题是歌颂仁政,痛斥暴政,伸张正义,鞭挞邪恶.<封神演义>那些宗教的和貌似宗教的描写,皆紧紧围绕这一积极的主题,起到了很好的作用.特别是貌似宗教的神魔斗法的情节,变幻奇诡,光怪陆离,创造了大量脍炙人口的经典性的新神话,使作品与<西游记>一起揭开了"神魔小说"的新篇章.故而,<封神演义>仍不失为一部优秀的古典小说.     

通过样例和问题求解学习物理──加强对条件的认知

这项研究支持了我们先前的研究结果,即知识可以表征为一组产生式规则,产生式规则的学习可以通过考察样例和通过问题求解的方式进行。这项研究特别探讨了加强对于产生式的条件认知加工活动的效果。结果表明了我们这一构思的有效性。此外,还讨论了这一学习模式的学习过程。

Individual differences in harm-related moral values are associated with functional integration of large-scale brain networks of emotional regulation

Emotions affects moral judgements, and controlled cognitive processes regulate those emotional responses during moral decision making. However, the neurobiological basis of this interaction is unclear. We used a graph theory measurement called participation coefficient (‘PC’) to quantify the resting-state functional connectivity within and between four meta-analytic groupings (MAGs) associated with emotion generation and regulation, to test whether that measurement predicts individual differences in moral foundations-based values. We found that the PC of one of the MAGs (MAG2) was positively correlated with one of the five recognized moral foundations–the one based on harm avoidance. We also found that increased inter-module connectivity between the ventromedial prefrontal cortex, dorsolateral prefrontal cortex and middle temporal gyrus with other nodes in the four MAGs was likewise associated with higher endorsement of the Harm foundation. These results suggest that individuals' sensitivity to harm is associated with functional integration of large-scale brain networks of emotional regulation. These findings add to our knowledge of how individual variations in our moral values could be reflected by intrinsic brain network organization and deepen our understanding of the relationship between emotion and cognition during evaluations of moral values.

从友人处寄来《科技日报》8月6日的上述文章,阅后令人吃惊。多年来全国造船界和航运界公认的“周锦宇超浅水船”伪科学,变成了“开创……船舶运输新纪元”的大发明,一堆堆废铁变成了大成果。这里就该文所涉及的几件事的真相,提供社会各界参考。一、文中说:周锦宇“提出了流体分子量质与物体运动相对瞬变新理论成因这一大胆设想,……是对流体力学研究的重大突破,……其作用是无可估量的”。对于连文句都不通的,没有任何说明的,不知所云的“一句话”理论,怎样突破?何来作用?二、文中说:“30吨级超浅水船畅通闽江上游。”事实是,1987年初福建省…     

兴奋性氨基酸对猫怒叫反应的影响

为了提供猫“怒叫中枢”的神经元胞体参与怒叫反应的直接证据,本实验观察了“怒叫中枢”内注射谷氨酸单钠和海人酸对猫怒叫反应的影响。结果表明,“怒叫中抠”内注射谷氨酸单钠后,动物的呼吸加快,瞳孔明显扩大,电刺激引起叫反应的阈值明显降低。注射海人酸也可引起呼吸加快,瞳孔扩大,电刺激引起叫反应的阈值明显下降等反应。实验所用的动物中有3只动物,海人酸还可直接诱发叫反应。本实验提示,电刺激“怒叫中枢”引起的怒叫反应是神经元胞体兴奋的结果,而不是过路纤维兴奋的作用。

The structure of traits delineating personality disorder in a Chinese sample

The present study examined the factorial structure of a Chinese language version of the self-report Dimensional Assessment of Personality Pathology Questionnaire in 581 adults. Four factors were extracted (Emotional Dysregulation, Dissocial, Inhibition, and Compulsivity) that are similar to the factors extracted in the scales' normative clinical and general population samples from North America (factor comparability coefficients range from .88 to .96), supporting the idea that this trait structure is invariant across diverse populations. The internal consistency of the scales (Cronbach's alpha) was satisfactory across age and gender groups with the exception of the Intimacy Problems scale. Possible explanations for the poor internal consistency of the Intimacy Problems scale, such as cultural differences in social factors influencing marital and romantic relationships in Chinese populations, as opposed to other populations are discussed.     

Hypoglycemia-induced suppression of luteinizing hormone (LH) secretion in intact female rhesus macaques: role of vasopressin and endogenous opioids

The first objective of this study was to determine whether insulin-induced hypoglycemia (IIH) inhibits LH secretion in unrestrained female macaques during the follicular phase of the menstrual cycle. There was a consistent inhibitory effect of hypoglycemia on LH secretion within 3 h in these females. This inhibition was likely an indirect effect since low glucose levels did not inhibit GnRH secretion from GT1-1 neurones in vitro. We next investigated whether administration of a vasopressin antagonist (AVPa) either alone, or with naloxone could reverse the IIH-induced inhibition of LH release. Females were studied in the follicular phase during 10 h periods with blood samples collected every 10 min. Experimental groups were IIH (n=6), IIH+AVPa (n=5) and IIH+AVPa+naloxone (n=4). The first 5 h of each study served as a control and hypoglycemia was then induced with insulin. The AVPa was given as a bolus (180 microg) just before the insulin and was followed by a continuous infusion (180 microg/h) for 5 h. Naloxone (5 mg/kg) was given with the AVPa and followed by a continuous infusion (5 mg/kg/h) for 5 h. In the IIH group, LH reached its lowest value 3-4 h after insulin. Neither AVPa nor AVPa+naloxone infusion reversed the inhibitory action of hypoglycemia on LH release. These data suggest that if there are inhibitory actions of vasopressin and endogenous opioids on GnRH release induced by hypoglycemia, they are not sufficient to explain the suppression of GnRH/LH release in intact female primates.
