This study explored the effects of inclusive leadership on employee well-being and innovative behavior. We also investigated the mediating role of person-job fit in these relationships. We tested these effects on a sample of 207 employees in five telecommunication companies in Vietnam, using a questionnaire survey. The results showed that inclusive leadership is positively related to employee well-being and innovative behavior, and that person-job fit mediates these relationships. The study makes theoretical contributions to the literature of leadership and organizational psychology, and suggests useful managerial implications for organizations to boost employee well-being and innovative behavior. Taking a cultural approach, this study provides empirical cross-cultural validity of the effect of inclusive leadership on employee well-being. 相似文献

Despite increased use of professional learning communities in the teacher education field, they do not necessarily guarantee change in teachers’ daily practice. This study is a multiple case study of three school leaders in Vietnam to connect their teachers’ learning and practice by utilising visual records. In the cases studied, we see a progression of models of joint reflection based on visual information, from only occasional reflection to daily critical reflection, the latter of which the authors call ‘vide-flection’ referring to a process for people to consider their actions, thoughts, or experiences by utilising video-recorded images. For joint vide-flection, school leaders visit every classroom for several minutes every day to observe the wellbeing and learning of pupils and video-record struggles or breakthroughs in children’s learning; they share those images with teachers to jointly reflect on the situations. Through this vide-flection, teachers develop more detailed awareness of pupils needs. 相似文献

Temporal and spatial representations have been consistently shown to be inextricably intertwined. However, the exact nature of time–space mapping remains unknown. On the one hand, the conceptual metaphor theory postulates unilateral, asymmetric mapping of time onto space, that is, time is perceived in spatial terms but the perception of space is relatively independent of time. On the other hand, a theory of magnitude assumes bilateral and symmetric interactions between temporal and spatial perceptions. In the present paper, we argue that the concepts of linguistic asymmetry, egocentric anchoring, and sensory modality provide potential explanations for why evidences favoring both asymmetry and symmetry have been obtained. We first examine the asymmetry model and suggest that language plays a critical role in it. Next, we discuss the symmetry model in relation to egocentric anchoring and sensory modality. We conclude that since these three factors may jointly account for some conflicting past results regarding the strength and directionality of time–space mapping, they should be taken into serious consideration in future test designs. 相似文献

Drawing on a cultural perspective, we examined whether differences in self‐other decision making documented in the West can be replicated in an Eastern context. Study 1 revealed that Chinese participants showed self‐other decision‐making differences in loss aversion similar to those observed in Western participants; loss aversion differed depending on the type of decision recipient, and trait regulatory focus moderated the self‐other decision‐making difference. Study 2 found a mediating effect of situational prevention but not promotion focus on the relationship between decision makers’ roles and loss aversion. Furthermore, both studies revealed that participants did not show a preference for loss aversion, suggesting that the baseline of self‐other decision‐making differences has shifted in China compared to the West. 相似文献

本文通过辨析韦伯经济伦理概念的含义、韦伯对经济伦理的研究方法、"韦伯命题"等,说明中国经济伦理学界对韦伯经济伦理概念的理解是有欠缺的,其原因主要有二:其一,对相关文本的理解思路不恰当;其二,我们自身问题意识的错位与类比的错位.这些理解上的欠缺,对中国经济伦理研究产生了不良影响:由于对经济伦理概念的理解不当,导致研究方式的偏颇,从而未能抓住当代经济伦理研究的重心. 相似文献

We conducted this cross-sectional study among 392 Japanese and 294 Vietnamese mothers who attended routine child health visits
in a Japanese city and at a tertiary hospital in Vietnam, in order to investigate the prevalence and associated sociodemographic,
parenting, and psychological characteristics of low maternal confidence in child rearing among them. All data were collected
from medical files in Japan, and from medical files and self-administered questionnaires in Vietnam. The proportion of mothers
without secure feeling of confidence in the present study was 22% in Japan and 66% in Vietnam. Significant factors associated
with a lack of confidence were first-time motherhood and unintended pregnancy in the Japanese dataset and younger age in the
Vietnamese dataset. In both groups, a higher proportion of mothers who lacked confidence reported negative parenting outcomes
than did confident mothers. Among the three psychological measurements (mood, self-efficacy and depression), higher self-efficacy
was associated independently with a significantly reduced risk of not having confidence in child rearing. These results suggest
the importance of developing parenting support programs to help Japanese and Vietnamese mothers, particularly those who are
young, first-time mothers or who became pregnant unexpectedly, improve their self-efficacy. 相似文献
