Business schools are often thought of as being accountable for the individual student’s personal development and preparation
to enter the business community. While true that business schools guide knowledge development, they must also fulfill a social
contract with the business community to provide ethical entry-level business professionals. Three stakeholders, students,
faculty, and the business community, are involved in developing and strengthening an understanding of ethical behavior and
the serious impacts associated with an ethical lapse. This paper discusses the ways the business schools may enhance the student’s
ethical knowledge and understanding, and proposes a roadmap that business schools may use to develop or strengthen a strong
ethical culture.

This study investigates the issue of whistle-blowing behavior that results from internal auditors discovering company wrongdoing
in the process of preparing financial information. An experiment was conducted to examine whether reward systems such as cash
incentives or employment contracts have an impact on auditors’ disclosing wrongdoing behavior. The results indicate that internal
auditors are more likely to report wrongdoing to higher authorities when incentives are provided, suggesting reward systems
have a positive effect on disclosing company’s wrongdoing or even fraud. In addition, the result reveals that internal auditors

Proponents of the explanatory gap claim that consciousness is a mystery. No one has ever given an account of how a physical
thing could be identical to a phenomenal one. We fully understand the identity between water and H2O but the identity between pain and the firing of C-fibers is inconceivable. Mark Johnston [Journal of philosophy (1997), 564–583] suggests that if water is constituted by H2O, not identical to it, then the explanatory gap becomes a pseudo-problem. This is because all “manifest kinds”—those identified in experience—are on a par in not being identical to their physical bases, so that the
special problem of the inconceivability of ‘pain = the firing of C-fibers’ vanishes. Moreover, the substitute relation, constitution,
raises no explanatory difficulties: pain can be constituted by its physical base, as can water. The thesis of this paper is
that the EG does not disappear when we substitute constitution for identity. I examine four arguments for the EG, and show

We investigate the interactions of formula complexity in weak set theories with the axioms available there. In particular,
we show that swapping bounded and unbounded quantification preserves formula complexity in presence of the axiom of foundation
weakened to an arbitrary set base, while it does not if the axiom of foundation is further weakened to a proper class base.
More attention is being paid to the necessary axioms employed in the positive results, than to the combinatorial strength

Organizational researchers during the past few decades have increasingly focused on the role of subjective work issues and
their impact on important worker-related outcomes. One of the most prominently studied factors, perceptions of organizational
politics, has received much recent conceptual and empirical attention. In an effort to better understand the relationship
between perceptions of organizational politics and key outcomes, we apply meta-analysis on 79 independent samples from 59
published and unpublished studies involving 25,059 individual participants. Results indicate strong negative relationships
between POP and job satisfaction and between POP and organizational commitment, moderately positive relationships between
POP and the outcomes of job stress and turnover intentions, and a non-significant relationship between POP and in-role job
performance. Moderator tests show that age, work setting (i.e., public sector or private sector), and cultural differences
(i.e., domestic sample or international sample), have contingent effects on certain POP relationships. 相似文献

The relationship between the subjective well-being of parents and their own 12–16-year-old children was explored in a Spanish
sample of N = 266 families. A positive relationship was expected due to both a shared environment and the possibility of the genetic
transmission of subjective well-being ‘set-points’. A positive significant relationship was found for the summated scale of
satisfaction domains forming the Personal Well-being Index, and for the specific domains of health and security for the future.
However, no relationship was found for the other five domains that make up this Index or for satisfaction with life as a whole.
We conclude while these results provide some evidence for the expected influence of a shared environment, they have failed

In Being and Time, Heidegger affirms that being-with or Mitsein is an essential constitution of Dasein but he does not submit this existential to the same rigorous analyses as other existentials.
In this essay, Jean-Luc Nancy points to the different places where Heidegger erased the possibility of thinking an essential
with that he himself opened. This erasure is due, according to Nancy, to the subordination of Mitsein to a thinking of the proper and the improper. The polarization of Being-with between an improper face, the Anyone, and a proper one, the people, which is also, as Nancy shows, a polarization between everydayness and historicity, between a being-together in exteriority
(indifference and anonymity) and a being-together in interiority (union through destiny), between a solitary dying and the
sacrificial death in combat, leaves the essential with unthought. This essay shows not only the tensions that arise out of Heidegger’s own analyses of Mitsein and affect the whole
of Being and Time but also underlines in the end a “shortfall in thinking” inherent not only to Heidegger’s work but, as Nancy claims, to our
Western tradition, a shortfall which Nancy has attempted to remedy in his Being Singular Plural.
A slightly different version has been published under the title “L’être-avec de l’être-là” in Lieu-Dit 19 “Communauté” (Spring 2003). All additions in square brackets are the translators’ unless otherwise indicated. The German
words in parentheses are Nancy’s additions. For the translation of citations from Being and Time, we have used the Macquarrie & Robinson’s translation which we have modified only when constrained by Nancy himself. Overall,
we have tried to be faithful to the Heideggerian tone of Nancy’s text by using the accepted English translation of the central
concepts of Being and Time. When we depart from the accepted translations, it is to remain true to Nancy’s paraphrases, emphases, and displacements.
For example, we refrain from using “authentic” and “inauthentic.”
