Toward an Interpersonal Model of Codependence and Contradependence

Codependence is used increasingly to describe various dysfunctional relationships. This article differentiates codependent from contradependent behavior and defines both in an interpersonal context. A model is proposed to address gender issues, diagnosis, and treatment from an emotional health perspective.     

Ethical Standards: Assets and Limitations

APGA's Ethical Standards is a code of ethics that serves as the professional guidelines for many counselors and offers some protection in malpractice litigation. This article discusses the assets and limitations of the Ethical Standards and draws some conclusions for counselors.     

ALTERNATIVES TO COUNSELING “MINORITIES”

Since it is impossible for a counselor to have first hand knowledge of all minority/cultural groups with which he deals, it is suggested that he develop skills in the “here and now” models of counseling to be able to assist the counselee from minority group.

青少年罹患抑郁的社会因素受到研究者们的密切关注,尤其是社会支持因素。本文首先总结了社会支持与青少年抑郁关系的内在机制,包括主效应机制和缓冲效应机制;其次论述了影响社会支持与青少年抑郁关系的多种因素,主要涉及来自于社会支持提供者、社会支持接受者和测量方法等方面的因素。社会支持提供者因素包括性别、数量和社会地位;社会支持接受者因素包括性别、年龄、个体内在特征、人格特征以及遗传;此外方法主要涉及社会支持与抑郁症的测量。最后提出了未来的研究方向,如测量方法的改进、元分析纵向研究的开展、线上支持的研究,为青少年抑郁的社会干预提供更多的研究视角。     

胰岛细胞再生研究的临床应用前景

胰岛细胞再生是治愈1型糖尿病和胰岛β细胞功能丧失的2型糖尿病的根本途径.体外再生和体内再生两种策略都是通过将干细胞或其他类型体细胞分化或转化为胰岛细胞后发挥胰岛素分泌功能,从而治疗糖尿病.基础研究显示,两者存在着各自的优势和面临的问题.胰岛细胞再生治疗的临床应用前景尚需要进一步加以考证.

普外科的发展遵循社会发展的普遍哲学规律.在外科分科日益专业化的时代,普外科仍有重要的地位,是外科实践和理论发展的基础,是人才培养的摇篮.普外科的发展要跟上时代的发展,按照疾病谱的变化,遵循循证医学原则,引入最新的诊疗技术并重视多学科团队的合作诊疗模式.     

受众对广告中性别角色定型反应的研究

为了了解广告中性别角色定型对受众产生的影响,通过问卷调查,探讨了个体性别角色、性别、年龄和受教育程度对广告中性别角色定型反应的影响过程。结果发现:性别、个体性别角色(分为传统性别角色和非传统性别角色)、年龄和受教育程度可以通过女性自主性意识间接影响受众对广告中女性模特被冒犯性描述的知觉,进而影响受众对企业的负面评价和购买欲望;研究同时发现年龄可以直接预测受众的购买欲望。     

免费师范生的成就动机与职业兴趣相关研究

该研究以陕西师范大学的1349名大学生为样本,将成就动机的三个因素和职业兴趣六个因素综合起来加以考察,以揭示免费师范生的成就动机与职业兴趣之间的内在关系。结果表明：（1）免费师范生的成就动机水平低于大学生平均水平。非免费师范生的避免动机水平依次高于免费师范生和非师范生。（2）免费师范生的成就动机存在专业差异,职业兴趣存在性别和专业显著。（3）免费师范生的追求成功动机与职业兴趣的六个类型呈正相关,避免失败的动机与探索型、社会型和管理型星负相关。回归分析发现,追求成功和合成动机能够正向的预测社会型的职业兴趣。     

Acculturation,gender, and views on interracial relationships among Chinese Canadians

Acculturation to mainstream and heritage culture has been shown to influence attitudes and behaviors related to romantic relationships. Few studies have examined its influence on views regarding interracial relationships and whether the psychological processes underlying these relations vary across gender. Among Chinese Canadian participants (N = 248), mainstream acculturation, but not Chinese acculturation, was associated with more personal openness to and less cultural values conflict about interracial relationships. Among men, stronger egalitarian gender role ideology mediated the relations between mainstream acculturation and the above interracial relationship variables. For women, fewer concerns about cultural preservation mediated the relation between mainstream acculturation and less cultural values conflict. The importance of understanding cultural influences on interracial relationships through a gendered lens is discussed.
