This paper carries out an intensive study of Heidegger's famous reflection on the word dao and of his citations from the Daodejing, with the purpose of elucidating his complex relation with Daoist thinking. First I examine whether dao could be said to be a guideword for Heidegger's path of thinking. Then I discuss Heidegger's citations, in six places of his writings, from five chapters of the Daodejing, by situating them in the immediate textual context as well as against the broad background of the fundamental presuppositions and orientations of Heidegger and Laozi's thinking. In the current set of experiments, we establish, and explore the consequences of, the imprecision that characterizes the attribute response labels typically employed in the Implicit Association Test (IAT). In Experiment 1, we demonstrate the malleability of the IAT, as conventionally implemented. IAT scores are shown to be influenced by perspective mindsets induced by an unrelated preceding task. Then, we explore how the malleability of the IAT can lead to the inference that attitude change has occurred even when there is very good reason to believe it has not (Experiment 2), and conversely, how it can obscure the detection of attitude change when such change is indeed likely to have occurred (Experiment 3). We provide conceptual explanations for these discrepancies and suggest methodological improvements to enhance the specificity of IAT measures. 相似文献

The current study applies semantic differential to explore the semantic perception of emergency signs, in an attempt to analyze
the meanings of emergency signs in regard to the psychological exigencies of the general public. The results indicate that
problems concerning recognition accuracy have been observed, but also that the evaluation of the semantic meaning of the signs
is positive. However, a number of emotional factors also emerge, indicating that if improvements should be made to the existing
emergency signs, it would better facilitate evacuation in the event of an emergency. As for the design guidelines, the emergency
signs should be readily recognizable and have a single meaning. Multiple symbolic meanings should be eliminated. Concrete
design guidelines include: (a) safety movement, (b) clarity, and (c) safety. To avoid confusion in sign recognition, in addition
to the improvements made based on the abovementioned guidelines, educational promotional activities carried out by the government

ABSTRACTThis paper studies Antoine Le Grand's account of organic identity over time in human bodies. In response to Aristotelian critics who argued that the Cartesian rejection of the Aristotelian ontology of matter and form had put in jeopardy the diachronic identity of material substances in general and of living bodies in particular, Le Grand argued that the identity over time of the human body could be accounted for without the traditional notions of matter and form. The purpose of this study was to develop a “Scale for Evaluating Creative Culinary Products” based on the nature of these products. We adopted the Consensual Assessment Technique (CAT) to establish the credibility of the scale. The scale comprises 8 categories: professional technique; aroma, taste, and texture; color; modeling and arrangement; garnish; dishware; handling of ingredients; and overall assessment. There are 34 assessment criteria for these 8 categories. Nine culinary experts were invited to evaluate, by means of these criteria, the products of 28 college students studying Chinese cuisine. The degree of interjudge reliability was .98, and the correlation between each criterion and the total scale was between .578 and .856.
