We examined the impact of risk and protective factors on the odds that African American adolescents seriously think about or attempt suicide. Data from students in grades 5–12 in a mostly urban, southeastern U.S. school district were analyzed. Findings support earlier work documenting differences in gender and grades. Risk factors were uniformly significant in understanding both ideation and attempts. Protective factors were not consistent predictors; the lowering role of religious protective factors was limited, though student's belonging to or their perception of belonging to a spiritual community was a significant factor in lowering the odds of suicide ideation. 相似文献

采用准实验设计教学干预,将75名心理学专业本科生分为实验组(n=54)和对照组(n=21),实验组进行为期10周的结构化服务学习活动(每周2小时),对照组给予匹配任务(文献阅读和翻译总结)。采用反思日志中的开放性问题和非服务学习领域的结构不良情景问题为测验材料,利用自编的问题解决中的批判性思维表现编码表,对服务学习活动前后和过程中相关材料进行编码,探讨服务学习中服务组学生批判性思维的变化及其在非服务学习领域结构不良问题解决中的迁移效果。结果表明服务学习对大学生的批判性思维表现具有显著促进作用,主要体现在方案改进维度上,这种促进作用可以迁移到非服务学习领域问题解决的批判性思维表现中。 相似文献

The aim of this paper was to examine precipitating events for suicidal ideation and how these experiences relate to disclosure in a diverse sample of college students were examined. Among non‐Hispanic White students, relationship/academic problems were most associated with ideation. A romantic break‐up increased the odds of getting help. Among racial/ethnic minority students, family/academic problems were most associated with ideation and students who reported multiple events were less likely to get help compared with those not reporting events. Future research should examine the reasons for interpersonal conflict among this high‐risk group and their attitudes about help‐seeking, and identify cultural norms associated with disclosure. 相似文献

Most individuals who consider suicide do not make suicide attempts. It is therefore critical to identify which suicide ideators are at greatest risk of acting on their thoughts. However, few seminal theories of suicide address which ideators go on to make attempts. In addition, perhaps surprisingly, most oft‐cited risk factors for suicide—such as psychiatric disorders, depression, hopelessness, and even impulsivity—distinguish poorly between those who attempt suicide and those who only consider suicide. This special section of Suicide and Life‐Threatening Behavior serves to highlight this knowledge gap and provide new data on differences (and similarities) between suicide attempters and suicide ideators. 相似文献

ABSTRACTPsychotherapy integration requires us to look beyond the confines of a particular theoretical or technical approach towards other perspectives. Integrative work with children, in particular, meets the socio-emotional needs of the child while simultaneously modeling behaviors and skills. This paper presents an explicitly integrative approach to child group psychotherapy: Relationships. Individuals. Skills. Engagement (RISE) Group. We begin with an in-depth discussion of the RISE group structure illustrated by clinical examples (the “what”) followed by a review of the theory and treatment modalities that inform the approach (the “why” and “how”). The RISE group is grounded in two theoretical perspectives (psychoanalytic principles and ego psychology) and draws upon clinical techniques from multiple treatment modalities (including cognitive behavior therapy, psychodynamic play therapy and dialectical behavior therapy). Combined, the merger of these perspectives results in a multilevel intervention that forges pathways to mastery and competence within the child. Finally, we discuss the value and limitations of integration as applied to group psychotherapy for children. 相似文献

运用ERPs技术考察谐音线索和前、后语节呈现时间间隔(ISI)对谐音型歇后语理解的影响。行为实验结果表明谐音线索影响语料的通达过程。在短ISI条件下,谐音线索同时作用于反应时和错误率,易化对歇后语的加工;在长ISI条件下,谐音线索仅提高正确率。ERPs结果表明,长ISI诱发更大波幅的N170成分和P200成分,不出现谐音线索将诱发更大波幅的P300成分,同时,短ISI诱发更大波幅的N400成分。实验结果推测,谐音型歇后语的理解分为三个阶段:(1)早期注意、语义识别和初级整合过程;(2)谐音线索加工过程;(3)通过语义映射中介,消除差异,获得同一性的过程。 相似文献

经典动机理论认为高期望能提高绩效水平,本研究结合调节定向理论进一步回答这种效应"何时"存在或"如何"产生的问题。研究1通过测量期望水平、并用任务框架操作调节定向,检验了情景启动的调节定向对期望与行为间关系的影响;研究2采取更严格的被试内设计通过任务难度操作期望,考察了作为个体长期差异的调节定向的作用。结果表明:①调节定向调节成功期望与绩效之间的关系:对于促进定向,成功期望与绩效正相关;对于预防定向,期望与绩效相关不显著。②动机可以部分解释调节定向与期望的交互作用机制:高水平的成功期望会提高促进定向个体的动机强度,进而产生高的绩效结果;其对预防定向个体的动机强度的影响不显著。 相似文献
