The legal foundation of psychosomatic rehabilitation, which amounts to more than half of all inpatient psychotherapies performed in Germany, includes the duty of the patient to cooperate, the pre-condition that there is a chance for increasing or restoring patient’s ability to work, and the obligation for therapists, to perform a socio-medical rating of patient's ability to work as well as a judgement about his/her credibility concerning the asserted handicaps and disabilities. All this has an influence on the relationship between psychotherapist und patient and leads to problems in the treatment especially of those patients, who wish to retire. For the psychotherapist not only counter—transferences may be difficult to handle but also role conflicts resulting above all from the challenge being simultaneously psychotherapist and medical expert, who has to rate patient's ability for work and his credibility. To keep capacity of acting, the psychotherapist should reflect these issues and make them transparent for the patient. Sufficient supervision is very important. This will not only improve patient's, but also pension scheme's profit. 相似文献

Wiggins, Harris and Lingoes, and Serkownek Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) scores were used to predict Millon Clinical Multiaxial Inventory (MCMI) scores in a 100-patient sample. Equations from the first sample were cross-validated on a sample of 212 inmate subjects. We conclude that scores on 19 of the 20 MCMI scales can be successfully predicted by the Wiggins, Harris and Lingoes, and Serkownek subscales of the MMPI. In further cross-validation, the equations were used to predict the Morey, Waugh, and Blashfield MMPI composites for the prison sample, again with strongly positive results. The results appear quite promising for the estimation of personality disorder constructs from MMPI scales and subscales. 相似文献

Spatial behavior in 20 children with severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) and 20 healthy controls was investigated using the Kiel Locomotor Maze. Children had to remember defined locations in an experimental chamber with completely controlled intra- and extra-maze cues until learning criterion was reached. In a second experiment, spatial orientation strategies were assessed. Children with TBI were shown to be impaired in spatial learning and spatial memory. Spatial orientation was found to be deficient even in cases where spatial learning and memory proved to be unimpaired, especially in tasks that demanded the use of relational place strategies. Children who suffered a TBI at an early age proved to be more severely impaired in spatial learning and orientation than older children. 相似文献

The effects of three abstinence sex education programs on student attitudes toward sexual activity were studied. The programs were administered to 7th- and 10th-grade students in three school districts in the State of Utah. All students were administered a pre- and posttest survey to determine attitude change. The independent variables were program, grade level, gender, and pre/posttest. The dependent variable was the combined and averaged response to 12 questions taken from the survey. There was a four-way interaction between the independent variables. The Sex Respect program produced the most positive attitude change. 相似文献
