本研究探讨工作记忆内容的保持能否影响时间判断,采用难以用言语编码和保持的抽象客体作为刺激材料,操作记忆内容与时间任务中刺激的关联程度。实验1将工作记忆中的变化觉察范式和时间判断任务结合,具体来讲,要求被试首先记忆一个客体,然后在每个trial的最后判断测试刺激是否与记忆项相同;在延迟阶段,被试完成时间判断任务,即判断相继出现的两个刺激的时距哪个更长(或更短)。记忆匹配条件下,时间任务中的一个刺激与记忆内容完全相同,相应的另一个刺激与记忆内容在形状和颜色上都不同,记忆匹配和记忆不匹配各占一半。匹配刺激先短后长、先长后短的顺序在被试内充分平衡;记忆不匹配条件下,时间任务中的两个刺激均与记忆项无关。结果发现,记忆匹配刺激不存在顺序效应;相比无记忆匹配条件,记忆匹配延长了时间判断的时间;进一步分析发现记忆匹配刺激与长时距对应时,正确率更低,反应时更长。为了进一步探讨实验1的结果是由对记忆内容的保持造成的,还是由刺激的重复出现造成的,实验2要求被试忽略第一个刺激,仅完成时间判断任务。结果发现,知觉匹配和知觉不匹配条件在时间判断的正确率和反应时上都无显著差异。研究说明记忆内容的保持引起了注意定向,影响了人们对时间信息的判断和决策。  相似文献

以进化理论为理论基础,通过分析不同情境下的记忆效果,探讨了生命有机体记忆机能性信息的机制。124名大学生分别参与3个实验,实验材料为无关联的词汇。实验1和实验2分别采用组间实验设计与组内实验设计。实验1和实验2的研究结果都显示记忆具有求生评价优势,评价生存有关的信息可以提高记忆效果。实验3通过混合实验设计再次验证了记忆的求生评价优势。实验3也发现不同实验材料的评价时间能够影响记忆的评价优势,因此,求生评价的记忆优势可能与认知加工程度有关。  相似文献

提取练习效应揭示了提取对记忆保持的关键意义;学习时间分配的有关研究表明提取练习效应的大小可能与材料难度有关。两个实验探讨了提取时间与材料难度对提取练习效应的影响:实验1采用2(提取时间:短,长)×2(材料难度:容易,困难)的混合设计,5分钟后测查记忆保持水平。实验2采用类似设计,将最终测试间隔延长至24小时。结果发现,⑴ 延长提取时间均提高了记忆成绩和记忆保持率。⑵ 即时测试条件下,提取时间较短时,不同难度材料的记忆成绩差异不显著;提取时间较长时,困难材料的记忆成绩高于容易材料;困难材料的记忆保持率在不同提取时间下均高于容易材料。⑶ 延迟测试条件下,无论提取时间长短,困难材料的记忆成绩及保持率均高于容易材料。研究表明,延长提取时间对提取练习效应的影响受材料难度的调节;情境背景和必要难度是解释该调节作用的可能理论框架。  相似文献

记忆的生存加工优势主要指生存情景下的记忆成绩好于其他情景下记忆成绩的一种优势效应。实验1采用生存加工研究范式,结合内隐记忆和外显记忆测试方法,考察了生存加工在内隐记忆和外显记忆中的表现。实验2结合不同的词语评估时间,进一步考察了不同加工水平对内隐记忆和外显记忆中生存加工的影响。结果发现,在内隐记忆中没有表现出生存加工优势,但是在外显记忆中出现了生存加工优势效应,并且外显记忆中的生存加工优势会受到加工水平的影响。  相似文献

本研究通过操作工作记忆内容的有效性,探讨了记忆内容的保持对时间判断的影响。采用不规则的客体作为实验材料,使时间任务中的刺激与工作记忆内容匹配或不匹配。实验1采用工作记忆和时间判断的双任务范式,要求被试首先记忆一个客体,然后在每个试次的最后判断测试刺激是否与记忆项相同。在延迟阶段,被试判断连续出现的两个刺激的时距哪个更长(或更短)。实验2中,要求被试忽略第一个刺激,仅完成时间判断任务。结果发现,相比单任务的计时,双任务条件下,工作记忆内容的保持延长了时间判断的时间。而且,在记忆匹配和知觉匹配条件下,匹配刺激呈现的时间越长,正确率越低,反应时越长。这说明记忆内容的保持增加了决策的难度,工作记忆内容对时间判断的可能是由记忆内容引起的注意定向造成的。  相似文献

考察时间压力下不同类型的情绪刺激和情绪状态对错误记忆的影响,并进一步探讨时间压力对心境一致性错误记忆的影响。实验1采用经典的DRM范式,记录被试对情绪关键诱饵的错误再认数。结果发现时间压力增强了被试对负性关键诱饵的错误再认。实验2先在测试阶段启动被试的情绪,再记录关键诱饵的错误再认数。结果发现,在时间压力下,正性情绪组的被试有更多的错误记忆。实验3采用带有情绪效价的DRM词表,并在测试阶段启动被试的正负情绪,然后再记录情绪关键诱饵的错误再认数。结果发现,压力组和控制组被试都表现出了明显的心境一致性错误记忆。研究结果表明,时间压力对错误记忆具有增强作用,尤其对负性心境一致性错误记忆具有更为明显的增强作用,但个体的负性情绪会削弱在时间压力下错误记忆的产生。这些结果进一步发展了激活监控理论和情感信息等价假设理论。  相似文献

本实验以自编测试材料对15—17岁少年进行元记忆实验研究。结果表明:反映元记忆能力的记忆策略与记忆监控有中度相关。元记忆能力与回忆量有高度相关。元记忆能力、回忆量与记忆时间呈中度负相关。元记忆能力的发展水平主要受教育因素的影响。推理能力、材料的难度也影响元记忆能力。另外,本实验还尝试将其它一些评价方法用于元记忆研究中。  相似文献

先前研究表明,事件边界会增强边界处来源记忆、削弱跨边界的时间顺序记忆,但对于两者之间是否存在一种权衡关系,以及内在的、具有社会性意义的变化作为事件边界是如何影响记忆的,尚鲜有研究。本研究以奖赏预测误差(reward prediction errors, RPE)作为事件边界,通过两个行为实验和一个ERP实验,探讨RPE事件边界对时间顺序记忆和来源记忆的影响。结果发现,RPE事件边界增强了边界处信息的来源记忆,高RPE事件边界引发了记忆权衡效应;相对于事件内/非边界条件,跨事件/边界条件记忆的正确提取诱发出更大的N400波幅,时间顺序记忆的激活主要集中在头皮中前部,来源记忆的激活主要集中在头皮中后部。本研究表明,事件边界的切分强度是影响记忆权衡效应的重要因素, N400成分可能是反映事件边界对情景记忆的整合与切分的重要指标。  相似文献

为检验普鲁斯特效应提取是否存在气味辨别确定的决策阶段,在实验一和实验二中分别以气味、气味词和不同辨认度的气味为线索,设置干扰任务,考察自传体记忆基于气味线索回忆的提取时间差异。实验一发现,语词标签和气味不一致条件,自传体记忆提取时间出现干扰效应,而气味一致条件未出现。实验二发现,难、易辨认度气味均有干扰效应。表明普鲁斯特效应提取存在气味辨别确定的决策阶段,它是气味本身和气味辨别确定所激活的气味语义表征促进了自传体记忆提取的“双加工”机制。  相似文献

通过2个实验,对背景任务时间充裕和紧迫两种情况下的具体事件意向、类别事件意向、时间点意向、时间段意向四种前瞻记忆任务对背景任务的干扰效应进行考察。结果表明,在背景任务时间充裕情况下,类别事件意向对背景任务有干扰效应,具体事件意向、时间段意向和时间点意向都没有前瞻干扰效应;在背景任务时间紧迫情况下,时间点意向产生了干扰效应,具体事件意向、类别事件意向、时间段意向均无干扰效应。结果支持前瞻记忆的实现依赖多重加工的观点,时间性前瞻记忆并不一定比事件性前瞻记忆产生更大的干扰。  相似文献

Within the context of the neurobiology of attribute model, memory for the temporal attribute is composed of at least three features—memory for duration, memory for succession, or temporal order, and memory for past and future time perspective within a dual-based (data and knowledge) memory system. Research aimed at testing the assumption that the hippocampus and interconnected neural circuits mediate the temporal attribute within the data-based memory system and the prefrontal cortex and interconnected neural circuits mediate the temporal attribute within the knowledge-based memory system in animals and humans is reviewed. The research indicates that (1) memory for the duration feature of the temporal attribute is mediated by the hippocampus, but not prefrontal cortex, in both animals and humans, (2) memory for the temporal order feature of the temporal attribute based on new information is subserved by both the hippocampus and the prefrontal cortex, but that based on prior knowledge or the ability to use prior knowledge is supported only by prefrontal cortex, and not the hippocampus, in both animals and humans, and (3) memory for the past (time perspective) feature of the temporal attribute is mediated by the hippocampus, whereas memory for the future (time perspective) feature of the temporal attribute is supported by the prefrontal cortex in both animals and humans. There is a clear parallel between animals and humans in terms of hippocampal and prefrontal cortex mediation of the temporal attribute, supporting the assumption of evolutionary continuity. There is support for a greater involvement of the hippocampus in comparison with the prefrontal cortex in mediating temporal attribute information within the data-based memory system. Conversely, there is support for a greater involvement of the prefrontal cortex in comparison with the hippocampus in mediating temporal attribute information within the knowledge-based memory system. Future research needs to concentrate on the development of new paradigms to measure memory for different temporal features and to uncover the critical neural circuits that subserve these temporal features.  相似文献

This article summarizes results from several studies on the effect of nontemporal processing on concurrent time estimation. These studies use an experimental paradigm that was developed to interpolate various nontemporal tasks in time interval production. Produced intervals were specifically lengthened by increasing the amount of short-term memory processing performed in a concurrent search task. The interference was shown with many short-term memory tasks, using various durations and methods in the temporal task. The effect on temporal production seems to be positively related to the level of difficulty of the short-term memory task. Finally, processing item or order information affects simultaneous time production, whereas its maintenance has no effect. An interference analysis of these phenomena suggests that interruption in time estimation is caused by both temporal and nontemporal tasks simultaneously requiring processing in short-term memory.  相似文献

当前对时间认知的脑机制探讨有三个模型:特异化计时模型、分布网络模型和定域计时模型。在这些模型的框架下,时间认知的神经心理学研究集中探讨了小脑、基底神经节、前额叶在时间信息加工中的作用和大脑两半球在时间认知中的不对称性。小脑作为内部计时系统对时间控制具有重要作用,在周期性动作任务中,小脑对不连续动作计时具有特异性。基底神经节在时间加工任务中与小脑存在明显的作用分离,其具体机制还有待深入研究。前额叶的计时功能可能与注意和工作记忆对时间信息的获得、维持和组织有关。此外,还发现大脑右半球与时问信息的加工关系密切。  相似文献

用词汇线索联想的内隐记忆实验范型,对48个时间修饰词进行概念启动效应的实验研究,探讨时间修饰词内隐记忆的特点和内隐时间表征存在的可能性。结果表明:学过的词和末学过的词之间词汇线索联想的启动值有显著差异;词汇线索联想和词汇线索回忆两种作业平均击中率的差异效应显著;被试完成两种作业依据的判定标准依次为:词的意义、词的时间属性(长度、时间单位)、过去生活经验等。对时间修饰词的内隐表征进行了初步讨论。  相似文献

When formulating explanations for the events we witness in the world, temporal dynamics govern the hypotheses we generate. In our view, temporal dynamics influence beliefs over three stages: data acquisition, hypothesis generation, and hypothesis maintenance and updating. This paper presents experimental and computational evidence for the influence of temporal dynamics on hypothesis generation through dynamic working memory processes during data acquisition in a medical diagnosis task. We show that increasing the presentation rate of a sequence of symptoms leads to a primacy effect, which is predicted by the dynamic competition in working memory that dictates the weights allocated to individual data in the generation process. Individual differences observed in hypothesis generation are explained by differences in working memory capacity. Finally, in a simulation experiment we show that activation dynamics at data acquisition also accounts for results from a related task previously held to support capacity-unlimited diagnostic reasoning.  相似文献

The effect of varying load in memory tasks performed during a time interval production was examined. In a first experiment, increasing load in memory search for temporal order affected concurrent time production more strongly than varying load in a spatial memory task of equivalent difficulty. This result suggests that timing uses some specific resources also required in processing temporal order in memory, resources that would not be used in the spatial memory task. A second experiment showed that the interference between time production and memory search involving temporal order was stronger when, during the timing task, a decision was made on the temporal position of a memory item, than when information on temporal order was retained throughout the interval to be produced. These results underscore the importance of considering the specific resources and processes involved when the interference between timing and concurrent non-temporal tasks is analyzed.  相似文献

The informative value of time and temporal structure often remains neglected in cognitive assessments. However, next to information about stimulus identity we can exploit temporal ordering principles, such as regularity, periodicity, or grouping to generate predictions about the timing of future events. Such predictions may improve cognitive performance by optimising adaptation to dynamic stimuli. Here, we investigated the influence of temporal structure on verbal working memory by assessing immediate recall performance for aurally presented digit sequences (forward digit span) as a function of standard (1000 ms stimulus-onset-asynchronies, SOAs), short (700 ms), long (1300 ms) and mixed (700–1300 ms) stimulus timing during the presentation phase. Participant's digit spans were lower for short and mixed SOA presentation relative to standard SOAs. This confirms an impact of temporal structure on the classic “magical number seven,” suggesting that working memory performance can in part be regulated through the systematic application of temporal ordering principles.  相似文献

In the last decades, researchers have proposed a large number of theoretical models of timing. These models make different assumptions concerning how animals learn to time events and how such learning is represented in memory. However, few studies have examined these different assumptions either empirically or conceptually. For knowledge to accumulate, variation in theoretical models must be accompanied by selection of models and model ideas. To that end, we review two timing models, Scalar Expectancy Theory (SET), the dominant model in the field, and the Learning‐to‐Time (LeT) model, one of the few models dealing explicitly with learning. In the first part of this article, we describe how each model works in prototypical concurrent and retrospective timing tasks, identify their structural similarities, and classify their differences concerning temporal learning and memory. In the second part, we review a series of studies that examined these differences and conclude that both the memory structure postulated by SET and the state dynamics postulated by LeT are probably incorrect. In the third part, we propose a hybrid model that may improve on its parents. The hybrid model accounts for the typical findings in fixed‐interval schedules, the peak procedure, mixed fixed interval schedules, simple and double temporal bisection, and temporal generalization tasks. In the fourth and last part, we identify seven challenges that any timing model must meet.  相似文献

Memory for the time of events may benefit from reconstructive, location-based, and distance-based processes, but these processes are difficult to dissociate with behavioral methods. Neuropsychological research has emphasized the contribution of prefrontal brain mechanisms to memory for time but has not clearly differentiated location- from distance-based processing. The present experiment recorded event-related brain potentials (ERPs) while subjects completed two different temporal memory tests, designed to emphasize either location- or distance-based processing. The subjects’ reports of locationbased versus distance-based strategies and the reaction time pattern validated our experimental manipulation. Late (800–1,800 msec) frontal ERP effects were related to location-based processing. The results provide support for a two-process theory of memory for time and suggest that frontal memory mechanisms are specifically related to reconstructive, location-based processing.  相似文献
