Die für alle überraschende Nachricht vom Tod von Prof. Hans Georg Zapotoczky hat in der ?ffentlichkeit, bei den Kollegen, aber ganz besonders bei den Patienten gro?e Bestürzung ausgel?st. Geboren am 24. September 1932 in Linz, fand nach eigenen Angaben sein erster Kontakt mit der Medizin bereits im dritten Lebensjahr statt, als er aufgrund einer schweren Infektionserkrankung von den ?rzten bereits aufgegeben wurde. Rückblickend hat er sich deshalb selbst als lebenden Beweis gegen medizinische Prognosen gesehen.

After addressing the question of whether Aron Gurwitsch (1901–1973) even had a theory of psychology, which is not obvious unless one collates the many dispersed remarks, a well-documented exposition of that theory is offered that clarifies the data, categories, field, methods, and topics of the versions of psychology he advocated.
