Guttman scalogram analysis has been limited to cross-sectional analysis. Longitudinal scalogram analysis (LSA), a direct extension of cross-sectional scalogram analysis to longitudinal-data, is proposed as an alternative methodology. The Spectral Analysis Program is designed to perform the following kinds of spectral analysis, using the Cooley-Tukey Fast Fourier Transform Algorithm: cross correlation, cross power spectrum, Fourier transform, inverse Fourier transform, and double Fourier transform (the process of transforming two real functions simultaneously). These operations are performed on two blocks of core that can be filled through time-sequential sampling of an external analog signal or from previously sampled data that have been stored on DECtape. Through the use of nine Teletype commands, the user can manipulate input and output and select a particular type of spectral analysis. Output may be displayed on a 30D scope stored on DECtape or turned into hard copy by a Calcomp plotter used for processing neuroelectric data at the Stanley Cobb Laboratories for Psychiatric Research.  相似文献

Many experiment-running programs generate output files that require selection, reduction, and formatting of the raw data before the numbers are suitable for input into statistical packages. PsySquash is a Macintosh program for the selection, organization, and summary of the tabular data that are produced by a widely used freeware data acquisition system, PsyScope. PsySquash serves as a bridge between PsyScope’s output data format and the input formats required by common statistical packages such as SAS, SPSS, and SuperAnova. An extension of PsySquash is proposed for use with arbitrary tabular data.  相似文献

This paper presents a nonspatial operationalization of the Krumhansl (1978, 1982) distancedensity model of similarity. This model assumes that the similarity between two objectsi andj is a function of both the interpoint distance betweeni andj and the density of other stimulus points in the regions surroundingi andj. We review this conceptual model and associated empirical evidence for such a specification. A nonspatial, tree-fitting methodology is described which is sufficiently flexible to fit a number of competing hypotheses of similarity formation. A sequential, unconstrained minimization algorithm is technically presented together with various program options. Three applications are provided which demonstrate the flexibility of the methodology. Finally, extensions to spatial models, three-way analyses, and hybrid models are discussed.  相似文献

PSAAL (Physiological Signals Acquisition and Analysis in LabVIEW language) is a group of seven programs, written in LabVIEW 3.0 language and specialized for acquisition, analysis, reduction, and display of peripheral and central physiological data. The main characteristics of the programs are the wide range of use for most short-duration psychophysiological paradigms and the easy-to-use graphic interface. In addition, two noteworthy features of LabVIEW are included: the portability of the programs on Macintosh, PowerMac, IBM, HP-UX, and SUN computers, and the capability of handling acquisition on many National Instruments A/D boards, including the low-cost ones. PSAAL performs acquisition and simple reduction of peripheral physiological responses with 12- or 16-bit resolution according to the A/D board used. Analysis includes conversion of electrocardiogram into heart rate, the elaboration of the main parameters of skin conductance responses, electromyogram, startle reflex, and averaging of evoked potentials or other event-related physiological responses, under different experimental conditions. The programs allow the user to perform the organization of the data in a spreadsheet ready for most statistical packages and without the use of other spreadsheet applications.  相似文献
