Photoluminescence (PL) spectra of undoped single crystals of the layered semiconductor GaSe have been measured in the temperature range from 10K to room temperature and in the wavelength range from 635 to 750nm. Two wide bands centred at 644 and 695nm have been observed at T = 10K. A detailed analysis of the spectra obtained by varying the excitation intensity and temperature resulted in the identification of the levels involved. A simple model is proposed to account for the observed data.  相似文献

A spectroscopic characterization of Er3+-doped SrAl2O4 phosphor materials synthesized by a solid-state reaction method with Er concentrations varying from 0.1 to 1?mol% has been performed by studying photoluminescence (PL) in the temperature range 10 to 360?K and absorption spectra. PL signals containing five emission bands at 1492, 1529, 1541, 1558, and 1600?nm, respectively, have been observed at room temperature for Er3+ transitions in the near infrared region. The samples exhibit a main luminescence peak at 1.54?µm, which is assigned to recombination via an intra-4f Er3+ transition. Sharp bands centered at around 378, 488, 521, 651, 980, 1492, and 1538?nm in the absorption spectra can be associated with transitions from 4I15/2 level to 2H9/2, 4F7/2, 2H11/2, 4F9/2, 4I11/2, 2H11/2, and 4I13/2 levels, respectively. The sharp emission peaks and excellent luminescence properties show that SrAl2O4 is a suitable host for rare-earth-doped phosphors, which may be suitable for optical applications.  相似文献

Resumen

En este trabajo se examina, a través de dos estudios, el fenómeno de la “punta de la lengua” (PL, TOT en la literatura internacional) en el idioma castellano. En el estudio 1, 101 sujetos contestaron un cuestionario retrospetivo sobre la ocurrencia de PLs en situaciones naturales cotidianas. Los resultados sugieren que el fenómeno PL constituye una experiencia familiar a todos los hablantes, sucede promedialmente en torno a una vez por semana, es causado frecuentemente por nombres propios, el hablante tiene en mucho casos información estructural relevante sobre la palabra buscada, y con frecuencia los PLs se acompañan de la presencia de otras palabras persistentes distintas de la buscada. En el estudio 2, estos hallazgos básicos resultan replicados en un estudio de laboratorio con 1 (02 sujetos y siguiendo la metodología experimental de Brown y McNeill (1966). Los datos muestran, además, una moderad correlacción negativa de -0.35 entre frecuencia léxica de los estímulos y el número de PLs elicitados por ellos, si bien no sólo las palabras de baja frecuencia son las únicas que causan estados PL. Por otra parte, surge una relación significativa de signo negativo entre la presencia durante un PL de palabras alternativas persistentes y la probabilidad de resolución inmediata del PL. Esta relación apoya la hipótesis del bloqueo sobre el fenómeno PL y los resultados son interpretados desde la perspectiva del modelo de Burke et al. (1991).  相似文献

The mechanisms of failure of symmetrical tilt boundaries have been investigated using an atomistic technique. The fracture process advances in steps that are related to the structural unit of the symmetrical tilt grain boundary. These boundaries are shown to fail through a combined mechanism involving dislocation emission in certain regions of the structural unit, followed by microcleavage, and again dislocation emission. The overall toughness of the boundaries is given by the combination of the toughness of these two processes.  相似文献

BackgroundIn Coordinated Joint Engagement (CJE), children acknowledge that they and their social partners are paying attention to the same object. The achievement of CJE, critical for healthy development, is at risk in infants with visual impairment (VI). Research on CJE in these children is limited because investigators use a child’s gaze switch between social partner and object to index CJE. Research is needed that identifies CJE in children with VI using behaviors that do not require normal vision and that explores the relationship between CJE and visual function. This study aimed to (a) develop a protocol for identifying CJE in children with VI, and (b) explore the relationship between CJE and infants’ visual acuity (VA) and contrast sensitivity (CS), measured with Preferential Looking (PL) techniques and Visual Evoked Potential (VEP).MethodsA protocol that included 9 indices of CJE that did not require normal vision was developed to code videos of 20 infants with VI (mean age =1 year, 6 months, 27 days) and their caregivers. The percentage of CJE episodes in which each index was observed was calculated. Inter-coder reliability was measured using Cohen’s Kappa. Linear regression analysis was used to examine the relationship between the infants’ visual function and CJE.ResultsInter-rater reliability between a first coder and each of two second coders were 0.98 and 0.90 for determining whether the child participated in CJE. The following indices were observed the most (in 43–62 % of CJE): child’s body orientation to caregiver, gaze switch between caregiver and object, and vocalization to caregiver. The only significant model included VA (measured with PL) as a single predictor and explained 26.8 % of the variance in CJE.ConclusionsThe novel protocol can be used to identify CJE in children with VI with good inter-coder reliability. The data suggest that children with lower VA exhibited less CJE.  相似文献

Abstract

The experimental Lα1,2 and Lβ1 X-ray emission spectra of Zn, Ga and Ge are presented. The high-energy satellite structure of the lines is considered. It appears that the intensity of these satellites relative to the main lines is much larger for Zn than for Ga and Ge. This enhancement effect is interpreted as arising mainly from the 2p?1 1/2 → 2p?1 3/23d?1 3/2,5/2 Coster-Kronig transition occurring in metallic Zn, which is absent in the case of Ga and Ge. Furthermore, for all these elements it is suggested that a significant contribution to the high-energy satellites of the Lα1,2; X-ray emission band arises from the 2s?1 1/2 → 2p?1 3/23d?1 3/2,5/2 Coster-Kronig process, whereas in the case of the satellites of the Lβ1 X-ray emission spectrum the main cause would be the 2s?1 1/2 → 2p?1 1/23d?1 3/2,5/2transition.  相似文献

A theoretical model is presented which describes a new mechanism of plastic deformation in fine-grained materials. In the framework of the model, rotational deformation occurs via motion of dipoles of grain-boundary disclinations and is associated with the emission of lattice dislocations from grain boundaries into adjacent grain interiors. Ranges of defect system parameters are identified in which the disclination motion is energetically favourable. It is shown that the mechanism can contribute to plastic flow in fine-grained materials prepared by highly non-equilibrium methods such as ball milling, severe deformation and high-pressure compaction.  相似文献

We investigate the performance of three statistics, R 1, R 2 (Glas in Psychometrika 53:525–546, 1988), and M 2 (Maydeu-Olivares & Joe in J. Am. Stat. Assoc. 100:1009–1020, 2005, Psychometrika 71:713–732, 2006) to assess the overall fit of a one-parameter logistic model (1PL) estimated by (marginal) maximum likelihood (ML). R 1 and R 2 were specifically designed to target specific assumptions of Rasch models, whereas M 2 is a general purpose test statistic. We report asymptotic power rates under some interesting violations of model assumptions (different item discrimination, presence of guessing, and multidimensionality) as well as empirical rejection rates for correctly specified models and some misspecified models. All three statistics were found to be more powerful than Pearson’s X 2 against two- and three-parameter logistic alternatives (2PL and 3PL), and against multidimensional 1PL models. The results suggest that there is no clear advantage in using goodness-of-fit statistics specifically designed for Rasch-type models to test these models when marginal ML estimation is used.  相似文献

A sharply bimodal lattice site distribution of dilute Cu in both Ni-deficient and Al-deficient beta-phase Ni-Al alloys has been observed in the 63Cu nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectra. These NMR results are correlated with results derived from incoherent channelling patterns (ICPs) formed by variations in characteristic X-ray emission as a function of incident fast electron orientation. Statistical analysis of ICP data, generated near a 210 zone axis, indicates that Cu occupies substitutional sites; Cu is exclusively on the Al sublattice sites in the Al-deficient alloy, whilst the partition ratio of Ni : Al sublattice sites for Cu in the Ni-deficient alloy is about 80 : 20. Comparison of ICP contrast from Cu X-ray emission with ICPs from the host lattice enables the two peaks in the 63Cu NMR spectrum to be individually identified as originating from Cu on Ni sublattice sites, and from Cu on Al sublattice sites. The respective NMR line intensities from the Ni-deficient alloy yields a Ni : Al sublattice site occupancy ratio which is in good agreement with the partitioning ratios derived from channelling patterns  相似文献

This work focuses on an improved method that enables us to measure in situ GaN film photoluminescence (PL) under Ar or N2 plasma etching. Although the background signal is large and increases with bias voltage, the GaN PL can be obtained after subtraction of this background from the total luminescence. Moreover, after plasma etching, the intensities of the near-band-edge and the yellow luminescence decrease significantly. It is suggested that this behaviour is strongly related to the heavy plasma-induced damage, which includes non-radiative defects and deep-level defects, such as Ga vacancies and/or C impurities.  相似文献

IntroductionGrowing concern for the environment gives rise to the development of projects aimed at changing attitudes and/or behaviors of individuals in a more ecological way. While the traditional levers of change (information/persuasion) have clear limitations (Perloff, 2003), the promising results of Binding Communication (Joule et al., 2004) present a relevant alternative.ObjectiveOur research, based on the Binding Communication paradigm, aimed to encourage participation in a project to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emission. The underlying theoretical aim was to identify the impact of action identification (Vallacher and Wegner, 1985) on individual behavior. A variable that commitment theorists (Girandola, 2003, Joule and Beauvois, 1998, Joule et al., 2004) consider as decisive in the paradigm effect although it has not yet been empirically studied.MethodOne hundred and twenty-three households in Brittany, France received a letter inviting them to participate in the presented project. According to three experimental conditions, some households had already received a phone call in order to answer a questionnaire about the environment (8–10 days earlier), wording in reference to two distinct identification levels.ResultsStatistical analyses showed a positive effect of procedure on intention to participate when the wording of the initial questionnaire referred to a high and adequate level of identification.ConclusionDiscussed in the context of commitment (Joule and Beauvois, 1998, Joule and Beauvois, 2002, Kiesler, 1971), self-perception (Bem, 1972) and action identification (Vallacher and Wegner, 1985); the results provide the first empirical validation of the effect of action identification on Binding Communication.  相似文献

The four-parameter logistic (4PL) item response model, which includes an upper asymptote for the correct response probability, has drawn increasing interest due to its suitability for many practical scenarios. This paper proposes a new Gibbs sampling algorithm for estimation of the multidimensional 4PL model based on an efficient data augmentation scheme (DAGS). With the introduction of three continuous latent variables, the full conditional distributions are tractable, allowing easy implementation of a Gibbs sampler. Simulation studies are conducted to evaluate the proposed method and several popular alternatives. An empirical data set was analysed using the 4PL model to show its improved performance over the three-parameter and two-parameter logistic models. The proposed estimation scheme is easily accessible to practitioners through the open-source IRTlogit package.  相似文献

In this paper, I present the modal adaptive logic AJ r (based on S5) as well as the discussive logic D r 2 that is defined from it. D r 2 is a (non-monotonic) alternative for Jaśkowski’s paraconsistent system D 2 . Like D 2 , D r 2 validates all single-premise rules of Classical Logic. However, for formulas that behave consistently, D r 2 moreover validates all multiple-premise rules of Classical Logic. Importantly, and unlike in the case of D 2 , this does not require the introduction of discussive connectives. A proof-theoretic analysis and new arithmetical semantics are proposed for some paraconsistent C-systems, which are a relevant sub-class of Logics of Formal Inconsistency (LFIs) introduced by W.A. Carnielli et al. (2002, 2005) [8] and [9]. The sequent versions BC, CI, CIL of the systems bC, Ci, Cil presented in Carnielli et al. (2002, 2005) [8] and [9] are introduced and examined. BC, CI, CIL admit the cut-elimination property and, in general, a weakened sub-formula property. Moreover, a formal notion of constructive paraconsistent system is given, and the constructivity of CI is proven. Further possible developments of proof theory and provability logic of CI-based arithmetical systems are sketched, and a possible weakened Hilbert?s program is discussed. As to the semantical aspects, arithmetical semantics interprets C-system formulas into Provability Logic sentences of classical Arithmetic PA (Artemov and Beklemishev (2004) [2], Japaridze and de Jongh (1998) [19], Gentilini (1999) [15], Smorynski (1991) [22]): thus, it links the notion of truth to the notion of provability inside a classical environment. It makes true infinitely many contradictions B∧¬B and falsifies many arbitrarily complex instances of non-contradiction principle ¬(A∧¬A). Moreover, arithmetical models falsify both classical logic LK and intuitionistic logic LJ, so that a kind of metalogical completeness property of LFI-paraconsistent logic w.r.t. arithmetical semantics is proven. As a work in progress, the possibility to interpret CI-based paraconsistent Arithmetic PACI into Provability Logic of classical Arithmetic PA is discussed, showing the role that PACIarithmetical models could have in establishing new meta-mathematical properties, e.g. in breaking classical equivalences between consistency statements and reflection principles.  相似文献

The goal of this two-part series of papers is to show that constructive logic with strong negation N is definitionally equivalent to a certain axiomatic extension NFL ew of the substructural logic FL ew . In this paper, it is shown that the equivalent variety semantics of N (namely, the variety of Nelson algebras) and the equivalent variety semantics of NFL ew (namely, a certain variety of FL ew -algebras) are term equivalent. This answers a longstanding question of Nelson [30]. Extensive use is made of the automated theorem-prover Prover9 in order to establish the result. The main result of this paper is exploited in Part II of this series [40] to show that the deductive systems N and NFL ew are definitionally equivalent, and hence that constructive logic with strong negation is a substructural logic over FL ew . This paper is devoted to the study of some subvarieties of the variety Qof Q-Heyting algebras, that is, Heyting algebras with a quantifier. In particular, a deeper investigation is carried out in the variety Q 3 of three-valued Q-Heyting algebras to show that the structure of the lattice of subvarieties of Qis far more complicated that the lattice of subvarieties of Heyting algebras. Next we prove that there is a functor TrΣ, of realization of generalized terms as term operations, from Alg(Σ) × Ter(Σ) to Set, that simultaneously formalizes the procedure of realization of generalized terms and its naturalness (by taking into account the variation of the algebras through the homomorphisms between them). We remark that from this fact we will get the invariance of the relation of satisfaction under signature change. The aim of this study is to investigate the working memory (WM) of very-low-birthweight (VLBW, ≤ 1500 g) children at the age of 11 years using Baddeley’s WM model. A regional cohort of 95 VLBW children was assessed for the domains of the WM model (central executive [CE], visuospatial sketchpad [VS], and phonological loop [PL]) using subtests from the Working Memory Test Battery for Children (WMTB-C) and the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children – Fourth Edition (WISC-IV). VLBW children were categorized into three groups according to their degree of brain pathology (normal, minor, or major) in neonatal brain magnetic resonance imaging at the term age, and the WM performance was compared between groups to test norms. The structure of the WM model was studied by analyzing correlations among domains. Even VLBW children with normal cognitive development (general ability index ≥ 85) performed worse compared to the test norms (M = 100, SD = 15) on CE (M = 87.64, SD = 20.54, < .001) and VS (M = 91.65, SD = 11.03, p < .001), but their performance on PL was above the norm (M = 110.79, SD = 13.79, p < .001). VLBW children with major brain pathology performed significantly worse on VS and PL compared to the other groups. The correlations among the WM domains of the VLBW children differ from earlier findings in normative populations. To conclude, the WM of the VLBW children in the study differ—especially in the CE and VS subtest scores—from the normative population irrespective of the degree of brain pathology and level of cognitive development.  相似文献
