Interdiffusion study is conducted in the Ni-rich part of the β-Ni(Pt)Al phase following the pseudo-binary approach. Interdiffusion coefficients over the whole composition range considered in this study increases with increase in Pt content, which is in line with the theoretical study predicting the decrease in vacancy formation and migration energy because of Pt addition. The trend of change in diffusion coefficient with the increase in Ni and Pt contents indicates that Pt preferably replaces Ni antisites.  相似文献

Glassy ribbons of Pd–Si alloys were prepared by a combination of melt spinning and flux treatment. The crystallization behaviour of a Pd81Si19 glassy alloy was studied through isothermal annealing at temperatures ranging lower than the glass-transition temperature T g to around the onset of crystallization. The evolution of microstructures arising from isothermal annealing was investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and (high-resolution) transmission electron microscopy ((HR)TEM). XRD spectra showed that, after the sample was annealed at a sub-T g temperature, its first diffraction peak was split into two overlapping broad peaks. TEM analysis revealed the formation of a spherical, particle-like glassy phase embedded in the glassy matrix together with a finely connected network morphology within both. Combining these observations with compositional analysis suggested that phase separation had taken place during sub-T g annealing. When the glassy alloy was annealed at temperatures higher than T g, nanocrystalline structures, composed of Pd3Si and Pd phases plus a Pd9Si2 phase with a lamellar structure, was formed.  相似文献

The formation and stability of the quasicrystalline icosahedral (i) phase in melt-spun Al93– x Fe3Cr2Ti2Si x (x?=?0–5) ribbons are reported. Samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction, differential scanning calorimetry and transmission electron microscopy. Primitive (P-type) ordered i phase particles were found to be homogeneously distributed in an fcc α-Al matrix in the as-melt-spun ribbons. The size of the i phase particles decreased and their thermal stability increased with increasing substitution of Al by Si. The i phase had a decomposition temperature of approximately 480°C in an Al93Fe3Cr2Ti2 ribbon whereas that in an Al92Fe3Cr2Ti2Si1 ribbon was approximately 500°C. The i phase particles are resistant to coarsening prior to decomposition into crystalline phases. The presence of a small quantity of Si (up to 1.0?at.%) is beneficial to both the thermal stability and the hardness of nanoquasicrystalline Al–Fe–Cr–Ti alloys.  相似文献

The influence of ruthenium (Ru) on the partitioning behavior of W, Re and Cr in γ′-Ni3Al has been studied using the Dmol3 method based on the density functional theory. The calculated results show that W, Re and Cr have a preference for the Ni site in γ′-Ni3Al alloyed with Ru. When Ru substitutes the central Ni atom, the site preference for W, Re and Cr varies. Furthermore, an electronic structure analysis of the alloy in terms of the Mulliken population and partial density of states was performed to elucidate the alloying mechanism of Ru in γ′-Ni3Al. The results show that the strengthening effect of Ru in the alloy arises from a reduction in the binding energy of Ru as well as p-orbital hybridization between Ru and the host atoms.  相似文献

The deformation behaviour of the γ′ precipitate in a directionally solidified nickel-based superalloy is investigated using microscopic observations after tensile testing at room temperature. It is found that coarse γ′ precipitates (604 nm) are sheared by strongly coupled dislocations, and some γ′ precipitates are elongated to approximately 3–6 times of their original lengths. It reveals that, at room temperature, the γ′ precipitate within the experimental superalloy has a significant plastic deformation capacity in comparison with Ni3Al bulk alloys. Based on the experimental observations, the extraordinary plastic behaviour of the γ′ precipitate is analysed.  相似文献

The θ′′-Al3Cu phase plays an important role in the precipitation process of Al–Cu alloys. This phase has a sandwich structure—every two {200}Cu layers are separated by three {200}Al layers. To analyse the formation mechanism of this structure, the elastic strain energy of the {200}Cu and {200}Al layers, and the chemical bonding energy that reflects the interaction between the electrons in Cu and neighbouring Al atoms are calculated and analysed by first-principles calculations, projected density of states and Bader analysis. Our computation results reveal that this sandwich structure is energetically preferred in the competition of elastic strain and chemical bonding energies. To minimise the elastic strain energy of {200}Al and {200}Cu layers, the {200}Cu layers prefer being apart from each other, whereas the chemical bonding energy favours the opposite arrangement because the intermetallic bond between Al and Cu atoms may form through p-d hybridization.  相似文献

Abstract

The existence of twinning in the pseudo-decagonal phase Al65Cu20Co15 has been established through TEM studies. From electron diffraction patterns, a rhombic crystalline lattice with a very large unit cell is easily identified. Diffraction patterns for microtwinned regions exhibit splitting and distortion of the reflections which is a result of the overlap of lattices which are rotated by 36° with respect to one another. While patterns from single components of the twins exhibit only pseudo-tenfold symmetry, those from the microtwinned regions exhibit nearly perfect tenfold symmetry.  相似文献

The high-entropy Ti–Zr–V–Cr–Ni (20 at% each) alloy consisting of all five hydride-forming elements was successfully synthesised by the conventional melting and casting as well as by the melt-spinning technique. The as-cast alloy consists entirely of the micron size hexagonal Laves Phase of C14 type; whereas, the melt-spun ribbon exhibits the evolution of nanocrystalline Laves phase. There was no evidence of any amorphous or any other metastable phases in the present processing condition. This is the first report of synthesising a single phase of high-entropy complex intermetallic compound in the equiatomic quinary alloy system. The detailed characterisation by X-ray diffraction, scanning and transmission electron microscopy and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy confirmed the existence of a single-phase multi-component hexagonal C14-type Laves phase in all the as-cast, melt-spun and annealed alloys. The lattice parameter a = 5.08 Å and c = 8.41 Å was determined from the annealed material (annealing at 1173 K). The thermodynamic calculations following the Miedema’s approach support the stability of the high-entropy multi-component Laves phase compared to that of the solid solution or glassy phases. The high hardness value (8.92 GPa at 25 g load) has been observed in nanocrystalline high-entropy alloy ribbon without any cracking. It implies that high-yield strength (~3.00 GPa) and the reasonable fracture toughness can be achieved in this high-entropy material.  相似文献

An analysis of cross-sections perpendicular to the main diagonal of a cubic elementary cell of a Samson structure–β-Mg2Al3 has been conducted. It has been proved that all skeleton atoms, i.e. which occupy their positions with probability of 100%, form a framework of hexagonal planes. These planes are a part of three domains shifted with respect to each other by one-third of the length of cube's diagonal. Space between domains is filled up by clusters with partially occupied atomic positions. For hexagonal domains, the elementary cell and positions of decorating atoms have been determined.  相似文献

The kinetics for the termination migration of a rod-type alpha particle in a two-phase Ti alloy was predicted on the basis of the edge recession theory. The developed model quantified the effect of geometrical dimensions and diffusional factors on the spheroidization rate. Comparison with the experimental results of Ti–6Al–4Fe showed that the model can provide a reasonable prediction of the time to complete the static spheroidization of rod-type particles.  相似文献

We propose and describe a method for determining the orientation of parent body-centred cubic (bcc) β grains at high temperatures from the orientations of the orthorhombic variants observed at room temperature as applied to the case of high-Nb-containing Ti3Al-based alloys. The method is based on knowledge of the orientation relationship between the parent and inherited phase. By averaging, the procedure enables determination of the most probable parent orientation using an approximate orientation relationship. The β?→?O transformation in Ti3Al-based Ti–22Al–25Nb alloy is very suitable for checking the relevance and effectiveness of the method because, in this case, after certain processing, some β-phase is retained at room temperature.  相似文献

Modernity is often assumed to be a unilateral schema that everybody could follow. This essay examines the adaptability of certain notions embedded in the literature about development in the Muslim world. The discourse on modernity in Muslim societies has taken shape mostly post World War II after the Muslim nations asserted their independence, and it has continued till contemporary times. How did this discourse change over the years? How did the exchange of ideas also affect the Muslim 'other'? Are there common grounds between 'modernity' and Islamic legal percepts (which are central to Muslim political thought)? Attachment theory suggests that borderline, avoidant, and schizoid personality disorders are differentially associated with anxious and avoidant attachment styles. The variations of insecure attachment in these disorders, in turn, might influence how others are perceived or appraised. To test these ideas, 176 college students completed questionnaires measuring attachment styles and personality disorder features, and each rated 10 emotionally neutral faces on 18 bipolar appraisal dimensions. As expected, borderline personality was associated with anxious attachment, avoidant personality was associated with anxious and avoidant attachment, and schizoid personality was weakly associated only with avoidant attachment. Furthermore, path analyses showed that borderline and avoidant personality features were associated with anxious attachment, which in turn related to negative face appraisals (e.g., tendencies to rate faces as less friendly and more rejecting). Discussion highlights the potential of simultaneously studying biases in social information processing and attachment disturbances among individuals with personality disorders.  相似文献

This paper reports the results obtained in an aid project designed to improve transport in the municipal area of Jocotán (Guatemala). The rural road network of an area occupied by indigenous people was analysed and a road chosen for repair using the labour-intensive method-something never done before in this area. The manpower required for the project was provided by the population that would benefit from the project; the involvement of outside contractors and businesses was avoided. All payment for labour went into the pockets of the local people. The small earth movements made and the use of local materials guaranteed the project's environmental sustainability, while the on-site training of the local community prepared its members for the continued maintenance of the road, thus investing the project with social sustainability.  相似文献

The precipitation behaviour and age-hardening response of Al–1.5Cu–4.0Mg (wt.%) alloys microalloyed with Si have been investigated by means of hardness measurement, TEM and HRTEM. Compared to the ternary alloy, the quaternary alloys exhibit a higher hardness. It is found that the underaged microstructure in the Al–1.5Cu–4.0?Mg alloy contains some fine precipitates, which are identified as the T phase by FFT spectra. The peak-aged microstructures of the ternary alloy is dominated by the T phase, while the peak-aged microstructures of the Si-containing alloys are dominated by the S phase. The volume fraction of the S phase is found to increase as more Si is added.  相似文献

We report the synthesis of nanoembedded biphasic alloy particles of In–Sn near eutectic alloy compositions embedded in an aluminium matrix by rapid solidification processing. Detailed transmission electron microscopy indicates that the two phases present at room temperature in as-synthesized samples are β and γ phases with tetragonal and hexagonal crystal structures, respectively. These co-exist with a small amount of single phase In or Sn particles with sizes less than 10?nm. Low temperature magnetization measurements indicate a superconducting transition temperature of 5?K, suggesting complete decomposition of the β-phase at small sizes and at low temperature. The small particles show type II behavior with a critical field Hc1≈44?G and two values for Hc2 of 250 and 1000?G, respectively. These values are considerably lower than those observed in bulk In–Sn alloys.  相似文献

An elemental powder mixture of Al (70 at.%), Ni (15 at.%) and Cu (15 at.%) was milled in a high-energy ball mill for various times ranging from 10 to 100?h to form ternary intermetallic alloys. X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy techniques were employed for characterization of the samples. The dissolution of the individual elements into an alloy led to the formation of a τ3 vacancy-ordered phase after 100?h of milling. This phase was found to be quite stable against milling, and no other crystalline and amorphous phases could be detected. The powder after 100?h of milling was found to contain mostly τ3 nanophases with partial ordering, and with crystallite sizes in the range 10–20?nm along with a lattice strain of ~0.675%. The milled powder, after annealing at 700°C for 20, 40 and 60?h, revealed the formation of a strain-free and ordered τ3 phase with a crystallite size of 80?nm, indicating grain coarsening. It is interesting to note that the mechanical energy imparted during milling could not completely destroy the vacancy ordering in the τ3 phase, unlike other stoichiometric Al–Cu–transition metal (TM) systems, where the disordered B2 (bcc) phase is commonly observed instead of any vacancy-ordered phases.  相似文献

This article responds to the question of the ‘implicit and presupposed theological turn of phenomenology’ by providing a close reading of Jacques Derrida’s Le Toucher—Jean-Luc Nancy (2000 French/2005 English translation), particularly concerning what Derrida alludes to as ‘the Christian thinking of the flesh’ in the French phenomenological tradition post-Husserl. In reading Derrida’s own text, the article identifies and then performs a ‘cryptonomy’ of references to the ‘Christian body,’ and of the ‘return of religion.’ The article also focuses on the more recent writings of Jean-Luc Nancy, especially Corpus (2000 French), concerning the body and its relationship to the concept of corporality (Leiblichkeit) from Husserl’s Ideas II.
