What is at stake in the process of elaborating support to provide job seekers with personal advice, both theoretically and practically speaking? All through a review of papers, this article focuses on different theoretical schemes in the process of helping jobseekers to get back to work, but it also details the currently existing support devices and analyses their effects. Eventually it concentrates on the main psychological features taken into account in the process of counseling. As a conclusion, this article examines the perspectives and the consequences of molding and shaping personal counseling for jobseekers from a research angle.  相似文献

The development of research instruments that are sensitive and appropriate to the realities of diverse ethnic communities is imperative in the current multiethnic context. The goal of this article is to discuss certain challenges encountered during the elaboration of a research instrument culturally-adapted to the South Asian culture. The instrument was designed in the context of a project that examines factors that influence health behaviours of and the use of preventive health services by, South Asian immigrant women living in Montreal. The different steps in the elaboration of the instrument, and the main challenges encountered are discussed. Recommendations are provided at the end of the article.  相似文献

Work may support personnalization and creation when subjects can transfer and develop in their professional environment what they do, value, plan or got in other domains of life. By contrast, suffering at work traps the subject in a reciprocal causality loop in which agency decrease and loss of meaning go hand in hand. Both depend on work experience’s disconnection from other subject’s life experiences. We hypothesize that emotion, as an antecedent of meaning search (Rime, 2005) and a vehicle for behaviors intersignification, is a means for re-appropriating an identity of “homme capable” (Ricoeur, 2004). Recently, the health social sciences, like some fields of psychology, have progressively adopted qualitative methods, particularly in English-speaking countries. When they come in addition to quantitative methods, they are called “mixed methodologies”. Among other reasons, these approaches suffer nonetheless of a lack of acknowledgement because of a still topical debate opposing the positivist-objectivist and the constructivist paradigms. Another reason to this lack of acknowledgement is due to the fact that several authors explain the use of a mixed methodology according to pragmatic arguments. The authors of this paper briefly present these debates and their pertinence in health psychology research and try to overcome them by showing that it is possible to make mixed methodologies fall within a constructivist approach. Their proposal is exemplified through a research work about organ donation decision led in Switzerland. Actually, this research embed multiple and complex factors that offer an appropriated ground for the use of a mixed methodology, qualitative and quantitative.  相似文献

The aim of this article is to present an exhaustive review of stress and school burnout literature. The school burnout is a recent notion, stem from the professional burnout. This article proposes to analyze the links between school stress and the development of a school burnout. Then, risk factors predisposing to the stress and to the school burnout are discussed. In a way of preventive practices, we also exposed protective factors for school burnout. This review presents several school burnout assessment tools. Organizational agility has become an increasing focus for companies and has led to the emergence of new developmental methods. This article presents the cross-evaluation as an approach to evaluating and developing inter-team interface efficacity. Though 360 degrees feedback collective processes are being evaluated, and during reflexive workshops they decide what improvements to make in their team functioning. Based on a literature review and more specifically on the theories of social identity and groupthink this article describes the scientific bases of the cross-evaluation method and the biases that can be involved and how to reduce them. It suggests new avenues of research and practical suggestions for practitioners about an inter-team development method.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to explore specific pattern of cognitive dysfunctions related to three schizophrenic dimensions: disorganisation, negative and psychotic, resulting from principal component analyse applied to PANSS's items. We assessed executive functions/dysfunctions in 42 schizophrenics (APA, 1994). Data suggest that principal component analyse performed on the 30 items of PANSS identify homogenous schizophrenia dimensions. Results show that disorganisation dimension was associated with low performances in selective attention (Stroop test), negative dimension were associated to low performances in cognitive flexibility (Wisconsin Card Sorting test) and in semantic verbal fluency. However, no significant correlation was found between psychotic dimension and cognitive dysfunctions. On the whole, our study contributes to the comprehension of specific patterns of cognitive disorders in the schizophrenic dimensions. Results is detailed and discussed.  相似文献

This article must be considered within the framework of research on distributive justice in the organisational context (Adams, 1965; Deutsch, 1975; Colquitt and Jackson, 2002). The aim is to propose an analysis from a political point of view of the orientation towards equity and equality rules. We take as a starting point the model of political decision in the organisational context by Murphy and Cleveland (1995). The political approach postulates that one cannot pertinently give an account of the managers’ decision modes without locating them in their daily context of human relations management, and their management strategy. We will examine the links between the context of immediate management and the managers’ choices for equity or equality. The results of two studies will be presented. They tend to legitimate the relevance of this approach.  相似文献

Through action-research case study in the area of “Parks and Gardens”, this paper focused on the relations between “aloneness”, “loneliness” and “solitude” at work and their necessary distinctions. The Socio-Clinical work psychology approach used during the intervention helped to highlight some key elements. While aloneness characterizes a stretched between the subject and its external environment link, loneliness and solitude are defined as intra-subjective process mainly emotional psycho. These last notions remain in any case a test for physical and psychological occupational health. It seems that the outcomes depend largely on the ability of the subject to convert aloneness to solitude. In our case study three valences of aloneness with different level of risk for health, were underline: solitude, as creative aloneness; defensive aloneness; and loneliness. The advantages of this new approach for prevention are discussed in the positioning relative to other work on the subject.  相似文献

The aim of this article is to identify the factors facilitating the invention, dissemination and diffusion phases of the innovation process. An action-research was conducted in a hospital setting using mixed methods (participant observation, interviews and questionnaires). A triple case study illustrated the invention of a change management methodology, its dissemination using an interactive learning strategy and its diffusion within and outside the organization. Ten factors from various research traditions emerged. No model was able to explain all factors facilitating one phase. Phases of the innovation process were carried out dynamically, as a continuously reactivated process.  相似文献

This research analyzes the use of serious gaming (simulator of helicopter) in a management training program for executives. We have observed 16 game sessions and interviewed 44 volunteer participants from the same company through this training program. We have identified few sparring matches between executives, mostly concerning the tasks commanded. The discussion is based on the “how to do” and not on the pursued purposes even when the instructions are ethically questionable. From the theoretical and methodological frame of the psychosociology of the work perspective (Lhuilier, 2013), our analysis highlighted the lack even the absence of collective deliberation before the decision-making process and their modalities in game experience and in real work, after the training program.  相似文献

During the last 20 years in France, the notion of relation to knowledge was very successful in the fields of education research and teachers training, and in the social debate about school. This kind of success should not hide or play down the importance of theoretical or social questions and debates this notion gives rise to, specially when some terms (as relation to knowledge or school experience) are used by different researchers or research teams in different theoretical frames and perspectives. In the clinical setting, attention is classically assessed by tasks that do not take into account theoretically important aspects, such as the salience-based guidance of visual search. The aim of this study was to develop a paced paper-and-pencil task for clinical use based on strong theoretical accounts that would assess salience-based visual search and that would meet the psychometric requirements for the assessment of attention. Participants were required to search and cancel targets of varying visual saliences as quickly and as accurately as possible during a predefined short period of time. The targets were intermixed with distractors. In agreement with theories of salience-based visual search, the results showed that the most salient targets were detected more easily than less salient targets. The task exhibited a quite acceptable test-retest reliability, and two construct validity studies showed that different scores involve different processes. This new task fully complies with the major theories of salience-based guidance of attention during visual search. It also meets the requirements of a plausible clinical task since its psychometric qualities are quite good. Preliminary normative data (n = 863) are presented for clinical use.  相似文献

Job interview is a standardized situation that carries high stakes and involves impression management tactics. When an incident occurs in such a situation it could create embarrassment. Usually the expression of this self-conscious emotion positively affects others’ judgment. The aim of this study is to know whether this positive effect could also be observed in a job interview and whether it may vary depending on how embarrassment is expressed and with the personality of the job applicant. Contrary to what it is observed in an ordinary context, the absence of expression is favored by the recruiters; the expression of embarrassment is rather negatively perceived, especially when it is not controlled.
