Kierkegaard,Repetition and Ethical Constancy

How can a person forge a stable ethical identity over time? On one view, ethical constancy means reapplying the same moral rules. On a rival view, it means continually adapting to one's ethical context in a way that allows one to be recognized as the same practical agent. Focusing on his thinking about repetition, I show how Kierkegaard offers a critical perspective on both these views. From this perspective, neither view can do justice to our vulnerability to certain kinds of crisis, in which our ethical self‐understanding is radically undermined. I further examine his alternative account of ethical constancy, by clarifying Kierkegaard's idea of a ‘second ethics’, as addressed to those who feel ethically powerless and as requiring an ongoing process of self‐transformation.

一、缘 起 《学术界》2001年第六期发表陈泳明《学术研究的豆腐渣工程》一文。该文先发于互联网（WWW.confucius2000.com）,题目是《国家级的学术豆腐渣工程》。有关的训诂问题本人在《孔子研究》已有两篇文章回答,此处拟从总体上对陈文所提出的问题作一评论。 首先使我注意的,是陈文的结尾。该处写道:     

Ethical Evaluation Bias

The objective of this study was to determine whether Ritalin (methylphenidate, MPH) affects cognitive flexibility and creativity in children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Measures administered included the Wisconsin Card Sorting Test-Revised (WCST-R), the Test of Divergent Thinking (TDT), and the Conners' ADHD rating scale, for both on and off MPH conditions. Comparison of on and off MPH data indicated that MPH administration significantly decreased symptoms of ADHD, as rated by parents on the Conners'. No significant differences were found on the WCST-R as a function of MPH administration. The Elaboration subscale of the TDT was the only scale to show a significant decrease in scores with MPH administration.

环境伦理思想自身的进程不同程度地影响到国内环境立法和国际环境立法,以及环境立法的目的、程序、内容等各个方面。传统的部门法不合乎环境保护目的性的根源在于传统的伦理观对自然和环境之固有价值认识的缺陷,这是导致现代环境法兴起的法律根源和道德根源。承认自然价值和自然权利的生态中心论环境伦理思想为处理新型的人与自然关系奠定了坚实的理论基础。环境道德和环境法的相互影响和作用的一个重要表现是:环境道德的法律化和环境法的道德化。     

人如何认知上帝--阿奎那与克尔凯郭尔认知方式的一个比较研究

在西方基督教哲学中,如何从人的层面走向上帝、体认上帝,历来存在着两种不同的倾向.一种是直接认识或体验上帝存在的方式,上帝在启示中成为人们直接获得的永恒真理;一种是通过受造物的自然本性,在理性的推导下间接地认知上帝的存在.蒂利希把这两种方式称之为宗教哲学的两种类型,前者是本体论类型,后者为宇宙论类型.阿奎那通过因果推理和类比推理对上帝存在的论证,充分展示了宇宙论类型的思想特征.克尔凯郭尔则凸显了孤独体验和内在激情在走向上帝中的意义,表现出了对本体论类型的回归.本文旨在通过对阿奎那和克尔凯郭尔的比较,来评述两种宗教哲学的关系.

不同道德评价取向对企业道德决策的预测作用

本研究基于Hunt和Vitell（1986）所提出的市场营销领域的道德通用理论模型,随机选取129名MBA学生为被试,采用Reidenbach和Robin的多维道德量表和情景研究法,旨在考察个体在应对企业决策中的道德问题时,不同道德评价取向对道德决策（整体性道德判断和道德意图阶段）的预测作用。结果表明：1）与对道德判断的单项目测量相比,多维道德量表对道德意图具有高的预测效度;2）道德公平、功利主义和契约主义对整体道德判断具有显著的预测作用;3）道德公平和相对主义对自我和他人道德意图具有显著预测作用。     

Ethical Issues in Tissue Banking for Research: A Brief Review of Existing Organizational Policies

Based on a general review of international, representative tissue banking policies that were described in the medical, ethics, and legal literature, this paper reviews the range of standards, both conceptually and in existing regulations, relevant to four main factors:(1) commercialization, (2) confidentiality, (3) informed consent, and (4) quality of research. These four factors were selected as reflective of some of the major ethical considerations that arise in the conduct of tissue banking research. The authors emphasize that any policy or ethical guidelines designed to regulate tissue bank research should address all four factors. Whenever this sort of research is conducted between several institutions or several countries, the paper suggests that the relevant entities work collaboratively to harmonize their standards.
