女性心理学的进化与后现代女性心理学的产生

女性心理学的发展经历了女性经验主义、女性立场论和后现代女性心理学三个发展阶段。女性经验主义强调男女的共性,女性立场论强调女性经验的独特性,而后现代女性心理学认为尽管在女性经验主义和女性立场论之间存在着矛盾和对立,但是两者都认为存在着某种内在的东西决定着社会性别,因而是本质主义的观点,属于现代主义的范畴。后现代女性心理学认为,性别乃是一种文化的社会建构。     

TEACHING PSYCHOLOGY OF WOMEN

A 38-item questionnaire was sent to 440 instructors of psychology of women courses; 230 surveys were returned. This article examines characteristics of people who teach courses in psychology of women, characteristics of their institutions, characteristics of the course itself, and the instructors' reactions to the course. Among the findings are: (a) instructors in this course vary greatly in the number of years they have taught the course and in their area of graduate training; (b) few instructors had taken a formal course in psychology of women; (c) the course is usually a highly emotional one; and (d) almost all instructors enjoyed teaching the psychology of women course more than their other courses.

中国心理学三十年

欣逢我中华人民共和国成立三十周年大庆的时候,对我国心理学三十年来经历的曲折发展过程进行一番回顾,总结其中的经验教训以利于为新时期总任务服务。由于心理学科的特殊性质,不少学术问题还难于明确肯定,本刊决定贯彻百家争鸣的方针,让国内心理学界从不同方面、不同角度采取各抒己见的方式来考察分析。这一期刊登的两篇有关论文就是这样的例子。希望全国心理学界开展这方面的认真讨论。

心理学发展状况的文献计量学研究

本文利用文献计量手段,对主要是近二十年来心理学发展中的一些情况进行了研究。本文所探讨的共分五个方面的问题,它们是: 一、二次世界大战以来心理学文献的增长情况, 二、近三十年来应用心理学研究的增加趋势, 三、二十年来心理学的研究的主要课题方面的一些变化, 四、“半衰期”与心理学文献老化年限, 五、1988年被引用得最多的影响程度高的心理学期刊。

"FEMINIZATION" OF PSYCHOLOGY

Women are participating in the field of psychology in increasing numbers relative to men. This development has been referred to as the "feminization of psychology," and it carries with it a number of implications. This article reviews statistical data relating to the changing sex ratio and discusses their implications. Participation rates of women in psychology are examined as they pertain to enrollment in doctoral programs, graduation from baccalaureate programs, and career progress within the profession. Implications of changing sex ratios for occupational prestige, income and economics, work structure, education and training, and theory, research, and practice are then discussed. In conclusion, the concept of "feminization" is challenged as questions are raised about whether the increase in the number of women in psychology is a problem, as has been alleged, or a symptom of other problems within the field
