WOMEN AND THE AMERICAN PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSOCIATION

Women have been active in the American Psychological Association (APA) almost from the beginning. In general, however, they did not attain high-level office, editorships, and significant committee posts at the same level as their male counterparts. During one 51-year period, for example, no women were elected to the APA presidency. Despite protests, little changed. Finally, in the 1970s, the climate in the APA shifted. The Committee on Women in Psychology was formed, as was the APA Division of the Psychology of Women. From then on, women's issues have remained an important concern of the association.

过去时间的心理结构

４０８名大学生被试用秒、分、小时、日、星期、年和月７个时间单位和模糊统计试验方法对４０个不定的过去时间修饰词作经验赋值,结果显示：（１）过去时间和未来时间在心理结构上是对称的,分为三个心理时间段,即以秒和分为计时单位的“较近的过去”和“较近的未来”,以小时、日和月为计时单位的“近的过去”和“近的未来”,和以年为计时单位的“远的过去”和“远的未来”。（２）随着时间修饰词的词义离现在由近至远,其词义地     

中转站系统框架的心理学研究

通过总结人类问题求解的特点,我们提出了问题求解的一种中转站系统框架。本文采用口语报告分析所进行的研究表明该框架是一种问题求解方面的知识结构和有效的启发式求解策略。实验证明了次序性、熟悉性、类似性和系统控制性是决定求解能力和效率的关键因素。说明了中转站及其排序、强规则和弱规则及其相互配合、以及中转站系统的控制策略在较大程度上反映和模拟了人在求解复杂的专门问题时的知识结构和控制过程。     

THE MAKING OF EXTRAORDINARY PSYCHOLOGICAL PHENOMENA

This article considers the extraordinary phenomena that have been central to unorthodox areas of psychological knowledge. It shows how even the agreed facts relating to mesmerism, spiritualism, psychical research, and parapsychology have been framed as evidence both for and against the reality of the phenomena. It argues that these disputes can be seen as a means through which beliefs have been formulated and maintained in the face of potentially challenging evidence. It also shows how these disputes appealed to different forms of expertise, and that both sides appealed to belief in various ways as part of the ongoing dispute about both the facts and expertise. Finally, it shows how, when a formal Psychology of paranormal belief emerged in the twentieth century, it took two different forms, each reflecting one side of the ongoing dispute about the reality of the phenomena.

心理学专业术语翻译的标准化,是心理学史和理论心理学所面临的重要课题。它对于我们心理学的研究与发展,对于心理学的国际间交流,都有着重要的意义。标准化是科学化的前提,也是学科成熟,或学科现代化的标志。作者对此提出了自己的思考和意见,以便引起关注和讨论。

该文介绍了传染性非典型性肺炎（严重的急性呼吸综合征,SARS）急性流行期我国民众较常见的心理应激反应,包括焦虑和恐惧、愤怒和怨恨以及抑郁等情绪反应,认知反应,自我防御反应和生理反应,描述了人们面对SARS威胁时的应对策略;探讨了当前影响民众心理反应的诸种因素,包括刺激事件或刺激情境的性质与特点,对事物的态度和认识评价,应对挑战的能力与应对方式,以及心理社会环境和人格特征等;指出了心理干预应当遵循的四个原则和多种形式,说明了6种心理干预的具体措施和方法。

THE PSYCHOLOGICAL REALITY OF LINGUISTIC SEGMENTS RECONSIDERED

LARSEN, S. F. The psychological reality of linguistic segments reconsidered. Scand. J. Psychol. , 1971, 12, 113–118.–Experiments using the so-called click-technique (Fodor & Bever, 1965) and testing the hypothesis that linguistic constituents are the units of speech perception are shown to rest on logically inadequate analysis of the data. Therefore the hypothesis was submitted to another test in the present experiment, and it was not substantiated. At the same time a predictiondirectly testing the basic postulate of the click-technique, viz., that auditory perceptual units resist interruptions by clicks, was clearly disconfirmed. However, due to insufficient precision of the postulate, results obtained by this technique seems uninterpretable at present.
