In the contribution the recent situation of the therapy-important psychodiagnostic is discribed as characterized through a contradiction. On one hand there's an substantial pressure for an effective treatment, on the other hand we have only a few well developed theoretical models and practical instruments. Three empirical questions in the experience of conflicts are investigated: First the rather few percentage of conscious conflicts as consequence of the substantial unconsciousness from central motives; second the still relative abstract definition of needs, and third problems in diagnostic of the so called personality strukture'. The article is closed with a discussion of some new possibilities of a action-related diagnostic of conflicts and motives.  相似文献

Convergence among theoretical perspectives in clinical psychology during the last decade has moderated many earlier disputes concerning the worth and propriety of personality assessment. Survey data indicate that traditional psychodiagnostic methods continue to be widely used and taught. New directions in professional practice, especially in relation to health and forensic concerns, are providing increasing opportunities for clinical psychologists to find rewarding roles as expert diagnostic consultants.  相似文献

A survey of the literature is given on methodological problems associated with, and results of, the clinical diagnosis of personality in school age with questionnaires for self-evaluation. Further is given an outline of a number of major personality inventories used in (german) practice. Owing to the changed concept of psychiatry and psychotherapy, greater demands are also being made on psychodiagnostics. The article deals with the prerequisites, possible significance and application of the clinical methods and psychological tests, describes the problems of standardization and quality testing and discusses indications and problems of the different groups of methods. Ergopsychometry--testing under physiological and/or psychological stress--has proved to be increasingly successful in recent years. In particular in sports psychology, in which only physiological stress had been considered, have experimental results been successfully implemented into practice. The fact that some subjects appear unchanged or even yield better results under stress than under stress-free conditions applies not only to physiological stress, but also holds true for psychological stress. These results have consequences for the experimental psychodiagnoses of pathological stress reactions, e.g., with alcoholics or psychosomatic patients. Proceeding from the above hypothesis we investigated 20 gamma-alcoholics (so-called relieve drinkers) and 20 psychosomatic inpatients under stress-free as well as under stress conditions, according to the ergopsychometric approach. The control group consisted of 23 subjects matched with respect to age, sex, and profession. We used a test battery to assess concentration, memory, and choice-reaction as well as the subjective state of activation, stress-coping-mechanisms, and self-concepts. Essentially, the validity of ergopsychometric designs was confirmed by our results. In accordance with our expectations, 27.5% of the experimental group showed increasing efficiency scores, compared to 56.5% in the control group. Possible explanations for the findings can be derived from the assessment of subjective activity, but not from of the personality questionnaires.  相似文献

To investigate recent changes in Rorschach instruction, a double postcard questionnaire was distributed to all APA-approved doctoral programs in clinical psychology asking for information about the number and type of Rorschach courses. The data were compared with 1961 and 1966 surveys. A trend toward fewer Rorschach courses per university and a decrease in courses specifically on the Rorschach is evident. Changing views toward projective techniques may be a contributing factor, but the addition of areas such as behavior modification and community psychology into the training programs is also compressing the more traditional courses.  相似文献
