Contemporary Transformation of Chinese Society and Reconstruction of Values

This paper is intended for an analysis of the reconstruction of values under the circumstances of socialist market economy through looking at the contemporary transformation of Chinese society and its culture. We hold that there will inevitably be conflicts of values in market economy, which will have dual impact on the cultural lay - out of contemporary China. We are supposed tc look at and treat the conflicts and their influences dialectically.
