Against Humanitarianism: The Most Important and Basic Principle in Marxism--An Analysis of Althusser's Critique of Subjectivity Philosophy

This paper tries to explain Althusser's theories which are prone to be misunderstood, such as his rejecting humanitarianism and historicism in the sense of logic and his regarding subject as the establishment of ideaology and replacing it with the word "process". It also clarifies Althusser's position that the basic principle of the philosophy of Marxism is to reject humanitarianism, historicism and every kind of subjective philosophy, and shows the author's critical analyses at the same time.
